Day 1 – Germination The journey begins! Today, I started germinating my seeds using the water glass method. I dropped the seeds into a glass of room temperature water and will let them soak for the next 12-24 hours. Once they sink or show the first sign of cracking, I'll move them to a moist paper towel for the next step. Super excited to see the first taproots emerge and watch them sprout. Stay tuned for updates as this grow takes off! 🌱💧 Day 2 – Seedling Planted The seed has successfully germinated in the water glass and showed its first taproot. I carefully transferred it into the soil today, making sure to plant it root down, about 1 cm deep. To give it the best possible start, I added some mycorrhizal fungi to the soil. This should help with root development and nutrient uptake as the plant grows. Now it's just a matter of keeping the soil moist and letting nature take its course. Can't wait to see the seedling break through the surface! 🌱🌍 Day 5 – Blue Zushi Breaking Through Today’s the day! The Blue Zushi is just about to break through the soil. I can see the soil starting to lift, and it’s only a matter of time before she fully emerges. The taproot is definitely doing its work, and I expect to see the seedling above ground later today. I’m keeping the soil moist and the environment stable, so everything is on track for healthy growth. Can’t wait to see those first tiny leaves! Day 9 – First Leaves Fully Unfolded We’ve got leaves! 🌱 On Day 9, the Blue Zushi seedling has officially developed its first set of true leaves. They’ve unfolded beautifully, and the plant is looking healthy and vibrant. The cotyledons are still doing their job, and the new leaves are soaking up all the light. Keeping an eye on moisture levels and making sure she’s got the right environment to thrive. Can’t wait to see the next set of leaves start to form!
