Grow Diaries Report: Topping Success 🌱 Week 4 – Plant Update This week, I decided to top my plant to encourage bushier growth and multiple main colas. It was my first time performing this technique on this specific strain, so I was a little nervous about how she’d react. The Process I carefully topped the plant at the 4th node using sterilized scissors to minimize stress and risk of infection. The cut was clean, and I made sure to give her some TLC afterward with a light foliar spray and optimal conditions. The Result She handled the topping like a champ! Within 24-48 hours, the new growth tips started to show signs of development, and there were no signs of shock or slowed growth. In fact, she seemed to thrive even more, with her lower branches catching up and filling out nicely. Post-Topping Care I slightly increased the light intensity and ensured consistent humidity levels (around 60%) to support recovery. Feeding was adjusted to include a bit more nitrogen to fuel her vegetative growth. Conclusion Overall, the topping was a success, and I’m excited to see how she develops over the next few weeks.
