Day 1 – Germination (Water Glass Method) Today I started germinating my Gelato K seeds using the water glass method. The seeds are soaking in room temperature water for 12-24 hours, giving them a good start. Waiting for them to crack open and show the first signs of life! I'll keep you posted on the progress. 🌱💧 Day 2 – Into the Soil (No Germination Yet) Even though the seeds haven't germinated yet in the water, I decided to go ahead and plant them directly into the soil. I’ve placed the seeds about 1 cm deep and added a sprinkle of mycorrhizal fungi to help encourage root development once they sprout. Now, I’m making sure the soil stays moist and hoping the seeds will break through soon. Let's see what happens over the next few days! 🌱🌍 Day 4 – First Leaves Unfolding Exciting progress! 🌱 Yesterday, on Day 3, the seedling finally broke through the soil and made its appearance. Today, on Day 4, the first tiny leaves (cotyledons) have fully formed. It’s a great sign that the plant is establishing itself and is ready to begin photosynthesis. The soil is staying moist, and I’m keeping the light at a good distance to encourage steady growth. Looking forward to seeing those first true leaves pop up in the coming days!

Week 2 – Gelato K Update The Gelato K is progressing nicely in Week 2! It’s been transplanted into a 50-liter soil container to give the roots plenty of space to spread and support strong growth. The plant looks healthy, with vibrant green leaves and a solid structure. My plan is to top the plant soon and experiment with main-lining to optimize the yield and encourage even canopy development. Excited to see how it responds to the upcoming training!

Grow Diaries Report: Topping Success 🌱 Week 4 – Plant Update This week, I decided to top my plant to encourage bushier growth and multiple main colas. It was my first time performing this technique on this specific strain, so I was a little nervous about how she’d react. The Process I carefully topped the plant at the 4th node using sterilized scissors to minimize stress and risk of infection. The cut was clean, and I made sure to give her some TLC afterward with a light foliar spray and optimal conditions. The Result She handled the topping like a champ! Within 24-48 hours, the new growth tips started to show signs of development, and there were no signs of shock or slowed growth. In fact, she seemed to thrive even more, with her lower branches catching up and filling out nicely. Post-Topping Care I slightly increased the light intensity and ensured consistent humidity levels (around 60%) to support recovery. Feeding was adjusted to include a bit more nitrogen to fuel her vegetative growth. Conclusion Overall, the topping was a success, and I’m excited to see how she develops over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for updates as she grows into her new, bushier form! 😊 Any tips or feedback from fellow growers? Let me know! 👇

Week 5 – Plant Update What a difference a week makes! After last week’s topping, I was expecting the plant to bush out more—but instead, she decided to shoot for the stars! 🌱✨ Growth Explosion The vertical growth this week has been insane. She’s stretched significantly, with strong and healthy stems. The side branches are catching up as well, giving her a balanced and vigorous structure. Clearly, she’s enjoying life right now. What I Did Light Distance: Adjusted the light to maintain an optimal distance (around 30–40 cm) to prevent excessive stretch. Nutrients: Increased phosphorus and potassium slightly to support stem strength and prepare for future flowering. Support Training: Added a bit of low-stress training (LST) to control the height and encourage lateral growth. Observations The topping seems to have triggered an incredible growth spurt. No signs of stress or deficiencies—just a plant that's eager to grow! She’s now around 20% taller than last week. Next Steps I’m keeping an eye on the height to make sure she doesn’t outgrow the tent. Depending on her behavior next week, I might need to consider additional LST or supercropping to manage her canopy. Conclusion This girl is determined to reach for the top! Excited to see how she develops as she transitions to the next phase. 🌟 Any advice on managing stretch during this phase? Drop your tips below! 👇 Stay tuned for more updates! 😊

Grow Diaries Report: A Challenging Week 🌱✈️ Week 6 – Plant Update This week brought a mix of growth and setbacks. While the plant continued to thrive with her characteristic stretch and bushiness, there were a couple of hiccups to navigate—one caused by me and the other by circumstance. Challenges This Week Limited LST: Unfortunately, I accidentally half-snapped a branch during training. While the branch is still attached and seems to be recovering, it limited my ability to continue LST effectively this week. No Photos: I was on vacation during most of the week, so I wasn’t able to document her progress with pictures this time around. Progress Despite Setbacks Despite these challenges, she’s looking healthy and continues to grow vigorously. The snapped branch has been gently supported, and I’ll be keeping a close eye on its recovery. What’s Next? Allow the damaged branch to heal naturally—no more training on it for now. Resume LST cautiously next week to manage her height and improve the canopy structure. Prepare to monitor her closely as I settle back in and ensure she hasn’t faced any additional issues during my absence. Conclusion This week had its ups and downs, but overall, she’s pushing through like a champ. Hoping for smoother sailing next week as I’m back to give her the attention she deserves! 🌿 If anyone has tips for dealing with a partially snapped branch, feel free to share below! 😊

row Diaries Report: Stretch Continues & Lollipopping Begins 🌿✂️ Week 7 – Plant Update Another exciting week in the grow tent! The plant is determined to reach new heights, continuing her impressive vertical stretch. To manage her energy and prepare for flowering, I started lollipopping to clean up the lower parts and focus her growth where it matters most. This Week’s Highlights Stretch Continues: She’s back to her upward trend, shooting even higher and making great use of the vertical space in the tent. Lollipopping Begins: I began removing the lower branches and foliage that weren’t getting enough light. This will help redirect her energy to the upper parts for stronger bud development. What I Did Lollipopping: Removed the lower 1/3 of the plant’s growth, focusing on weak and shaded branches. The canopy now looks cleaner and more focused on the productive areas. Nutrients: Continued with balanced feeding, adding a bit more potassium and phosphorus to support the transition into flowering. Light Adjustment: Raised the lights slightly to accommodate her stretch while keeping the intensity optimal. Observations She’s responding well to the lollipopping so far, showing no signs of stress or slowed growth. The upper branches are thriving, with strong, healthy foliage and thicker stems. Challenges Managing her height remains a priority as the tent space gets tighter. I’ll need to keep training minimally to avoid further mishaps after last week’s accidental branch snap. Next Steps Finish lollipopping over the next week to refine her shape and focus. Monitor her stretch closely to avoid overcrowding or light burn. Prepare for a potential switch to flowering nutrients as she progresses further. Conclusion The plant is full of life, stretching and thriving even as I begin to sculpt her for maximum yield. Can’t wait to see her really hit her stride in the flowering phase! 🌟 As always, tips or thoughts on managing stretch and lollipopping are welcome below! 😊

Grow Diaries Report: Lollipopping Success & Steady Growth 🌱✨ Week 8 – Plant Update This week has been all about refinement and steady progress. After last week’s lollipopping, the plant has responded beautifully, showing no signs of stress and focusing her energy on the upper canopy. Growth has slowed slightly, but she’s using this time to thicken and strengthen. This Week’s Highlights Lollipopping Success: The plant took the lollipopping very well, with no noticeable shock or setbacks. The cleaned-up lower section is allowing for better airflow and light distribution. Controlled Vertical Growth: She’s only grown a bit taller this week, which is a relief after her earlier stretching spree. Her energy seems to be concentrating on bulking up the canopy. What I Did Post-Lollipopping Care: Continued monitoring the plant for any signs of stress and adjusted nutrients to support recovery and development. Nutrients: Slightly increased bloom nutrients as she transitions further into flowering. Environment: Maintained optimal light distance and kept humidity slightly lower to discourage mold in the more open canopy. Observations The plant looks healthy and vibrant, with strong stems and a thriving upper canopy. The new focus on her top growth is exactly what I was hoping for after the lollipopping process. She’s transitioning smoothly and looks ready to produce some promising buds. Next Steps Continue monitoring her height and adjusting light distance as needed. Focus on even canopy development with minimal training. Start fine-tuning the nutrient regimen to match her flowering needs. Conclusion The plant is in great shape, taking the lollipopping like a champ and keeping her growth steady. It’s exciting to see her getting ready for the next stages of flowering! 🌟 Let me know if you’ve got any tips for maximizing bud production during this phase! 😊

Grow Diaries Report: Flower Week 1 – Stretch Madness & Heavy Grooming 🌿🚀 Week 9 – Flower Week 1 Update The flowering phase has officially kicked off, and wow, this plant is on a mission to touch the sky! The stretch this week has been intense, with the plant shooting up significantly. To manage her vigor and focus her energy on bud production, I’ve had to step in with defoliation and additional lollipopping. This Week’s Highlights Massive Stretch: The plant stretched dramatically this week, filling up the vertical space in the tent. Defoliation: I removed a significant amount of fan leaves to improve light penetration to the lower branches. Lollipopping Redux: Further cleaned up the lower parts of the plant, focusing her resources on the top colas. What I Did Lollipopping: Removed more of the lower branches and leaves that were unlikely to contribute to bud production. Defoliation: Took off some large fan leaves to improve airflow and light exposure throughout the canopy. Nutrients: Continued with the bloom feeding schedule, ensuring a balance of phosphorus and potassium for flower development. Environment Management: Adjusted the light height to prevent light burn and tweaked the fan placement to improve airflow in the now more open canopy. Observations The plant’s stretch has been both impressive and challenging, but the defoliation and lollipopping seem to be working. The top canopy looks well-lit and primed for flower development. No signs of stress from the grooming, which is always a relief during such an aggressive stretch. Challenges The rapid vertical growth is pushing the limits of the grow tent. I’ll need to monitor her closely to prevent overcrowding or light burn. Next Steps Keep monitoring the stretch over the next week—potential supercropping if necessary to control height. Fine-tune the nutrient schedule to ensure the plant has everything it needs as bud sites develop. Maintain low humidity to reduce the risk of mold or mildew during early flowering. Conclusion The first week of flowering has been an explosive start! The stretch is real, but with proper management, she’s looking set to develop some fantastic buds in the weeks ahead. 🌟 Any tips for managing a stretch-happy plant in a tight grow tent? Drop your advice below! 😊

Grow Diaries Report: Flower Week 2 – Stretch Continues & Buds Progressing 🌸🚀 Week 10 – Flower Week 2 Update The stretch shows no signs of stopping! This week, the plant continued to grow taller, almost maxing out the vertical space in the tent. On the bright side, the early bud sites are developing nicely, showing healthy pistils and steady progress. This Week’s Highlights Stretch Intensifies: The plant has gained even more height, challenging the limits of my grow space. Bud Development: Early flowers are forming beautifully, with a good amount of pistils and noticeable swelling at the bud sites. Canopy Adjustment: Managed the upper growth to maintain light exposure and prevent overcrowding. What I Did Supercropping: Used gentle bending on the tallest branches to manage height and avoid light burn. Defoliation: Lightly removed more fan leaves that were shading lower bud sites. Feeding: Continued the bloom nutrient schedule, maintaining a focus on phosphorus and potassium to support flowering. I added a little bit of BigBuds from Advanced too. Environment Tuning: Kept humidity around 45–50% and increased airflow to ensure a stable environment as the buds form. Observations Stretch Behavior: The plant is growing aggressively upward, but the structure is strong, with thick stems supporting the new weight. Bud Sites: Flowers are stacking up nicely, with healthy pistils and no signs of deficiencies or stress. The plant is clearly channeling its energy into bud production while still stretching. Health: Leaves remain vibrant green, and the overall growth is vigorous and promising. Challenges The limited vertical space is becoming a concern as the plant continues to stretch. Supercropping has helped, but managing the canopy will be crucial in the coming weeks. Next Steps Monitor the stretch carefully over the next week, continuing to use training techniques if necessary. Keep the bloom feeding consistent and adjust nutrients if any deficiencies appear. Begin watching for signs of trichome development and early resin production. Conclusion Week 2 of flowering has been productive, with buds forming well and the plant maintaining its energy and health. While the stretch is a challenge, it’s also a sign of a vigorous and thriving plant. Excited to see how she transitions into the next phase of flowering! 🌟 Any tips for managing a tall, stretch-heavy plant during flower? Let me know in the comments! 😊
