row Diaries Report: Stretch Continues & Lollipopping Begins 🌿✂️ Week 7 – Plant Update Another exciting week in the grow tent! The plant is determined to reach new heights, continuing her impressive vertical stretch. To manage her energy and prepare for flowering, I started lollipopping to clean up the lower parts and focus her growth where it matters most. This Week’s Highlights Stretch Continues: She’s back to her upward trend, shooting even higher and making great use of the vertical space in the tent. Lollipopping Begins: I began removing the lower branches and foliage that weren’t getting enough light. This will help redirect her energy to the upper parts for stronger bud development. What I Did Lollipopping: Removed the lower 1/3 of the plant’s growth, focusing on weak and shaded branches. The canopy now looks cleaner and more focused on the productive areas. Nutrients: Continued with balanced feeding, adding a bit more potassium and phosphorus to support the transition into flowering. Light Adjustment: Raised the lights slightly to accommodate her stretch while keeping the intensity optimal. Observations She’s responding well to the lollipopping so far, showing no signs of stress or slowed growth. The upper branches are thriving, with strong, healthy foliage and thicker stems. Challenges Managing her height remains a priority as the tent space gets tighter. I’ll need to keep training minimally to avoid further mishaps after last week’s accidental branch snap. Next Steps Finish lollipopping over the next week to refine her shape and focus. Monitor her stretch closely to avoid overcrowding or light burn. Prepare for a potential switch to flowering nutrients as she progresses further. Conclusion The plant is full of life, stretching and thriving even as I begin to sculpt her for maximum yield. Can’t wait to see her really hit her stride in the flowering phase! 🌟 As always, tips or thoughts on managing stretch and lollipopping are welcome below! 😊
