Grow Diaries Report: Steady Growth & Bloom Phase Begins 🌸✨ Week 9 – Plant Update The plant continues her steady upward journey, showing consistent growth and a healthy structure. This week marks a big milestone: the transition into the flowering stage! Midweek, I switched her light cycle and introduced a bloom-specific feeding regimen to kickstart bud production. This Week’s Highlights Steady Growth: The plant is still growing taller but at a manageable pace, with strong stems and a vibrant canopy. Flowering Phase Begins: The light schedule was changed to 12/12 midweek, signaling the start of the bloom phase. Feeding Bloom Nutrients: Transitioned from a veg-focused nutrient mix to a bloom formula, ensuring she has the phosphorus and potassium needed for flowering. What I Did Light Cycle Adjustment: Switched the timer to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness to induce flowering. Nutrients: Started her on a bloom feed with higher phosphorus and potassium while slightly lowering nitrogen. Environment Tuning: Reduced humidity to around 50% to create a favorable environment for budding and avoid mold. Canopy Management: Performed minimal adjustments to ensure even light distribution across the plant. Observations The plant is responding well to the changes. Her growth remains steady, and she’s showing early signs of transition, with a few tiny pre-flower pistils appearing. The overall structure looks robust, and the lollipopping from earlier weeks is clearly paying off, with energy focusing on the top canopy. Next Steps Monitor the plant closely for any signs of nutrient deficiencies or stress as she adjusts to the new cycle. Fine-tune the bloom nutrient ratios based on her development. Keep an eye on humidity levels to maintain an ideal environment for flowering. Conclusion The plant is entering an exciting phase, and everything is on track for a strong flowering period. Can’t wait to see those buds start stacking up in the coming weeks! 🌟 Any tips for optimizing the early bloom phase? Feel free to share your insights below! 😊
