Grow Diaries Report: Flower Week 2 – Stretch Continues & Buds Progressing 🌸🚀 Week 11 – Flower Week 2 Update The stretch shows no signs of stopping! This week, the plant continued to grow taller, almost maxing out the vertical space in the tent. On the bright side, the early bud sites are developing nicely, showing healthy pistils and steady progress. This Week’s Highlights Stretch Intensifies: The plant has gained even more height, challenging the limits of my grow space. Bud Development: Early flowers are forming beautifully, with a good amount of pistils and noticeable swelling at the bud sites. Canopy Adjustment: Managed the upper growth to maintain light exposure and prevent overcrowding. What I Did Supercropping: Used gentle bending on the tallest branches to manage height and avoid light burn. Defoliation: Lightly removed more fan leaves that were shading lower bud sites. Feeding: Continued the bloom nutrient schedule, maintaining a focus on phosphorus and potassium to support flowering. I added a little bit of BigBuds from Advanced too. Environment Tuning: Kept humidity around 45–50% and increased airflow to ensure a stable environment as the buds form. Observations Stretch Behavior: The plant is growing aggressively upward, but the structure is strong, with thick stems supporting the new weight. Bud Sites: Flowers are stacking up nicely, with healthy pistils and no signs of deficiencies or stress. The plant is clearly channeling its energy into bud production while still stretching. Health: Leaves remain vibrant green, and the overall growth is vigorous and promising. Challenges The limited vertical space is becoming a concern as the plant continues to stretch. Supercropping has helped, but managing the canopy will be crucial in the coming weeks. Next Steps Monitor the stretch carefully over the next week, continuing to use training techniques if necessary. Keep the bloom feeding consistent and adjust nutrients if any deficiencies appear. Begin watching for signs of trichome development and early resin production. Conclusion Week 2 of flowering has been productive, with buds forming well and the plant maintaining its energy and health. While the stretch is a challenge, it’s also a sign of a vigorous and thriving plant. Excited to see how she transitions into the next phase of flowering! 🌟 Any tips for managing a tall, stretch-heavy plant during flower? Let me know in the comments! 😊
