My third grow and my first attempt at photos. For a friend, I planted two each of (anonymous and who knows how old) White Widow and a Gold Leaf seeds into Rapid Rooters on 9/26. Only one of the WW sprouted, on 9/30, and neither of the GLs. I tried germinating another three GLs using the paper towel method and got one to sprout on 10/4, so the little gal on the left is 5 days younger than her sister. My intent is to grow these out in these small pots and then to replant in 5 gallon pots a week or so prior to flipping for flowering. My grow media for the first set of "veg" pots is my own mix of pretty generic coco (well buffered!), perlite, worm castings, Azomite and 444 time release fertilizer. When I transplant to 5 gallon pots I'll add higher P fertilizer. That's the plan, anyway. But I've already learned that these ladies always have minds of their own! 😄

Looks like you’re off to a great start!! I see you have the AC Infinity self watering bases. Are you planning to use those to feed the plants when you transplant? They work great with coco…I’ve used them for at least four grows now and they’re my favorite way to water and feed. (I feed through the bottom). Hit me up if you have any questions about them. Otherwise, best of luck with your grow! I plan to follow along. Again….everything looks great.

@Cornfed, yes, I'll probably be transplanting the WW into a 5 gallon fabric pot in a few weeks and I do plan to try out the self watering bases once the plant is established in the new pot. How early have you found the plants can survive with only bottom watering?
