Skittles for Primates

CaliGrown Was gifted a few seeds of this awesome strain. Can’t wait to see what she has got in store for us! Popped her in paper towel method. Day 1- sprouted clean and full of vigor. Will be recharge and water just for a week or so . Then in to big girl nutes

CaliGrown Day 15- Slow to take off because it’s cold . Poor sprouts are asking for warmer weather. Should be soon and I bet she takes off like one of jacks beans from the bean stock 😜

CaliGrown Day 22 - got some new growth going this week. Starting to gain momentum so gave her the first feeding. I will slowly ramp up her nutrients as the weeks go by. Transplant at about week 5 guessing.

CaliGrown Day 28 - Transplant into 3 gallon fabric pot. Going to keep the feed low ppm for the next week or so. Then going to up the nutrients. After a quick trip to the clone factory.

CaliGrown Day 37 - She s starting to really take off. Might even try a bit of minor lst before cloning her. Wish me luck boys. Hoping that she stays squat when I flip to flower. Trying to get a new light soon. 45w each I’m guessing at this point prolly on the high end.

CaliGrown Day 46 - only giving her water this week. Going about 4-5 days then she is getting thirsty. Picture of fan leaves lil limp bc of cold and was prolly over fed a lil too much last go around. Next is a topping for her clone.

CaliGrown DAY 52 - She is so pretty and I think a little leaf tucking will really bring her legs out. I am de leafing just a bit. Then cloning very soon. Can’t wait to flip to flower. Seriously can’t wait

CaliGrown Day 59 - Took off 4-5 large fan leaves. Made sure she is getting enough light to the lowers which soon will be clones. Just waiting on the led flowering light to get back from warranty fix. Looks like today by tracking number !!!! 🙏👏👏👏👏

CaliGrown Day 63 - took clones and hoping that they all make it through the week. Since she is getting a little lanky I’m going to keep the light low. After a week of recouping then I will flip her to flower along with her sister. Can’t wait to see some girl attributes... 😬 Day 66 FLIPPED TO FLOWER

CaliGrown Day 3 of Flower. Flipped to flower day 66 of Veg. Super stoked to see what’s in store for the future. SHE bushes out nicely and going to give her one more big de leafing. She is under my p300 platinum led 180w from the wall with her sister the blue gelato 41

CaliGrown Day 13 of Flower and she has grown into a beautiful little bush. I took off about 2 handfuls of fan leaves. Just water today, she is only liking a feed/water every 4-5 days. I will clean up the lowers next week. Thanks for following along! Super stoked I have a clone of both this and the BLUE Gelato. Which I think looks a bit more sativa leaning than the Zkittles.

CaliGrown DAY 18 Flower- She is getting big on me and loving the smells coming from the tent. Going to be a few days before any Trichome development. She stretched quite bit, but just enough to keep her around if the flowers are on point. Usually I clean up the lowers much more but this time going to use them for hash.

CaliGrown Day 26 - She is seriously getting big, the stretch on this girl is real. So much so that she burnt a lil bit when I didn’t check for 2 days almost grew into the light. Good news is the frost showed up early so hoping for the frosty pheno . Lets gooooo yellow skittles 🤞

CaliGrown Day 33 of flower feeding every 5 days or so. Really have some smells coming through. The flowers are getting bigger and more greasy each time she feeds. Going to ramp up the ppms at the end of week 8 of flower and then a quick cut off. Flushing last 2 weeks.

CaliGrown Day 41 of Flower- slow flowering period for this girl. Hoping she swells up soon. Should have cleaned up the lowers a bit more. Also she is very hungry for nitrogen still but going to keep giving her some calmag until I flush which should be start of week 18 since she is a bit slower to finish. Smelling very creamy right now but hoping for some stronger terps later in flower

CaliGrown Day 47 of Flower - super stoked on the smell coming off her buds. Straight up smells like fruit candy empty box mixed with baby powder. The swelling has begun, as a result she has started to drink more than a gallon every 3 days.

CaliGrown Day 51 of flower. I will do Much better next run and will anticipate her stretch. The burn leaves really look bad but she is doing well with the nutrients schedule. I am hoping for two more weeks of feed and then 1 to 2 weeks of flushing. Smells of strange candy coming from her and when I give her finger hugs it is definitely the most greasy girl I have touched in a while😉

CaliGrown Day 56 of flower - Water only for the next week or so. Just now seeing some amber trichomes, probably about 2% so far. All trichomes seem to be milky and very few clear. She has a little tip bleaching from the light. I can’t raise it anymore so the 1/4 inch of her top bud will have to suffer. Smelling like citrus candy 🍭 super excited! The frost factor is getting there. I would say 8/10 hopefully by the time she is ripe we will have 10s across the board for bag appeal, smell and density.

CaliGrown Day 63 of Flower - Well, I burned her alright. Not much I can do to keep the light from bleaching the tip of main cola unfortunately. She is getting much more dense and frosty later in flower. Thinking she will probably go close to 72 days. Only about 2-5% amber trichomes. The purple really coming through the leaves 🍁. Loving the smells of citrus candy like a sour gummy worms 🐛

CaliGrown Day 69 of Flower, still only about 5-8% amber trichomes. Watering every 3-4 days now. She’s gotten to tall and now has an inch of bleached foxtail on the main cola. Every other bud site seems to be doing awesome and loving the conditions. Smells of fruity candy already and some serious frost is coating the main bud sites. Hoping it cascades down to the lowers. Should be a week or so left!

CaliGrown So if you keep her stretch down and keep feeding heavily, then she produces very efficiently. Packing on the trichomes in the later part of flower and really taking her time with a 10-11 week flowering period of you make her mad. I will keep her in my garden for some time because she smoke heavy like a true indica. Harvested when she was about 15-20% amber trichomes. Very dense nugs with some purples on tops.
