Welcome to my grow report featuring Trop Cherry from Original Sensible Seeds! I’m using a homemade living soil mix as the growing medium, and I’ll mainly be working with top dressings and compost teas to provide my plant with optimal nutrients. I’m excited to see how it develops. Have a great day!

Hey fellow growers, the germination of Trop Cherry was successful! I’ve watered with EM-Active and Glückspilze Soluble to gently activate the soil microbiology. More updates will follow. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Have a great day!

Hey everyone! The first week of the growth phase is complete, and everything went smoothly. The lady is thriving and growing faster by the day. So far, I’ve only watered with plain water and effective microorganisms to start bringing life into the soil. Next week, I plan to transplant her into her final 15-liter pot. My homemade living soil mix has been fermenting for a month and should be the perfect home for her. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Hey, what’s up, everyone! Quick update on the lady: her leaves were drooping a bit, so I transplanted her into a 15L fabric pot, and it really did her good! Within a day, her leaves perked up, and she got her color back. This time, I also added Almicanna’s Organic Little Helper seeds, which really make the whole setup look even better. Let’s see where this journey takes us!

Hey friends, how’s it going? Week 4 is complete, and the lady has developed beautifully. Today, she received a light top dressing with bat guano and potassium. Since I plan to send her into flowering next week, I wanted to provide extra nutrients in advance so they’re available right on time.

Hey, what’s up, grow friends! Here’s a quick update on the lady: she’s been flowering for 7 days now and has stretched quite a bit. I gave her some dark molasses to feed the microorganisms and a bit of kelp meal. That should be enough for now. I think I’ll do a bloom top-dressing next week. As for the plant itself, she’s growing strong and sturdy—really solid genetics from OSS!

Day 14 of Flowering The lady from Original Sensible Seeds is now 14 days into flowering and thriving beautifully! She’s showing optimal growth and constantly “praying” when the lights turn on, a clear sign of her happiness and health. To prepare her for the nutrient demands of the upcoming flowering weeks, I applied a top-dressing using worm humus sourced from my local area. This natural amendment adds a fresh boost of nutrients to the soil, ensuring she has everything she needs. As for watering, I’ve kept it simple—only using plain water with a small dose of Hesi Super Vit to support her overall vitality. The living soil mix is doing an amazing job of providing the foundation she needs, allowing her to focus entirely on growing and expressing her beauty. So far, she’s on track and looking great! I’m excited to see how she continues to develop in the next few weeks. Updates to follow soon! Feel free to leave your thoughts or ask questions—I’m happy to share insights! Let’s see how this beauty progresses!

Trop Cherry is doing well so far. At the beginning of the week, there was over-fertilization in the substrate, which caused the pistils to turn brown—a real shock 😳. Thankfully, the plant has recovered and is now producing new white pistils. Hopefully, this won’t affect the final product too much! 🌲

Hey, dear grow colleagues! Here’s a little update on the lady: she’s been flowering for 28 days now and is developing beautifully. The issues from last week have been resolved, and resin production is in full swing. It’s great to see, and the aroma is starting to get more intense as well. 😁👍🏻

35 days since switching to 12/12, and the Trop Cherry lady is showing her true beauty. The leaves are gradually turning purple, and resin production is in full swing. Watering has been limited to dark molasses and a few microbes to keep the soil active 🍀🌲

Trop Cherry has been flowering for 42 days now, and I’m already in love with her beauty and terpenes. The aroma is wonderfully cookie-like, with sweet cherry notes—absolutely delightful. She’s growing steadily without any issues, and the buds are coated in resin—just stunning. I can hardly wait to harvest her! 😍✨

Day 49 of flowering: The buds are getting beautifully large and are covered in a thick layer of resin. The smell is simply amazing – a fruity sweetness with hints of cookies. I think the harvest will be ready in about 7–10 days! 🌲✨ So far, this is one of the best plants I’ve ever grown, and it came from a free seed! Huge thanks to Original Sensible Seeds for this beauty. 👍🏻

56 days into flowering, and what an incredible strain—I’m absolutely blown away! The leaves are almost black, and the buds look absolutely royal. The scent is tropical and sweet, with cookie undertones and a nice hint of gas. The light schedule has been adjusted to 11/13, and no more water is being given as I let the soil dry out. The trichomes are mostly milky, with some clear and a touch of amber—just the way I like it, not too much couch-lock. 😍👊🌲

The Trop Cherry was harvested on day 56 and dried in the tent at around 16-20°C with a humidity level of 60%. After a week, she was ready to be trimmed and then spent another two days drying in a cardboard box. Now the buds are in their container for curing. Updates to follow Dry Weight - 40 Grams
