This week, I started germinating a TerpyZ Punch Auto seed from TerpyZ Mutant Genetics. I placed the seed in a solution of three parts water (H₂O) and one part 3% hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂). After 24 to 32 hours, the seed began to crack open and was moved into a pre-fertilized Romberg coco coir pellet.
After three days, I transferred the sprouted seed into a 7cm x 7cm x 6.5cm Grodan Rockwool cube that had been soaked in a pH-balanced solution with a light dose of Plagron Hydro A + B nutrients, Rhino Skin by Advanced Nutrients, and Plagron Power Roots (EC=0.8; pH=5.75). The cube was then placed into the 35-liter reservoir of the Terra Aquatica AquaFarm filled with clay pebbles as the growing medium. The reservoir circulates the water twice a day with a water pump and is constantly oxygenated by an air stone.
A humidity dome was placed over the seedling to maintain high humidity and create an ideal microclimate for early growth. The system is set to water the plant via the drip ring every 4 hours for 7 minutes during the light cycle.
The grow light was set to the second-lowest setting to avoid overexposure, providing optimal light at 200 ppfd. The plant was consistently kept hydrated to ensure even moisture levels, supporting root development and initial growth.
