Day 106 from seed. Day 45, 6.5 weeks of flowering. The plant is clearly almost dead, with really only the young stalks with green. Most of the yellowed leaves on the main buds have dried to crunchy and are easily plucked, there is nothing left. This is an unknown strain so it is all guess work in terms of timelines. This is my fourth plant grown of this variety, and I’ve estimated 7-9 weeks of flowering. But the last three plants, all in similar environments, have dropped their leaves quickly out of nowhere in mid flowering. Despite all my pre-GrowDiaries nutrient burn incidents that scared me away from heavy nutrients, I’m thinking this plant suffered from severe nitrogen deficiency. #7 of this picture claims premature flowering (looking finished before seven weeks) and low yield. I guess I’ve just seen Nitrogen deficiency as a more slow process. Perhaps it has other true issues, who knows ... regardless I only have one bag seed left of the strain so its generally irrelevant. I am posting early this week because to be honest I am just seeing diminshed returns at this point. I realize that buds swell and get dense at the very end, but the main buds on this plant are clearly degrading. The appearance is trending downwards day-to-day. I’m betting no magical swell is going to happen here. So I am harvesting very early to actually get some curing time in before my personal supply runs out. Compared to other current plants in the same tent it was always expected as low grade, no I am not devestated by the early harvest and low yield.
