60 days from seed. After taking this picture I moved it to the flowering tent so next week should have some visible stretch. I elected not to defoliate/lollipop at this point, thus far I have only tied the main stem and selectively cut a handful of fan leaves.

Grow Questions

BeanswithPorkstarted grow question 6 years ago
Is it possible for plants of the same strain/seed distributor, same environment, to finish at two different times - two weeks apart? (both timelines being the reccommended or longer) i.e. Should I go the prescribed 9 weeks of flower or can I even make my previous 11 weeks?

hey there BwP, yeah so with every strain you'll find different "phenotypes" aka different "types" of plant, shorter, longer, bushier less bushy, that sort of thing. So to answer your question, yeah it's very possible. About your second question about the flower time, you should always do what the plant says not what the breeder says. Often times the breeder will give a flowering time a couple weeks or more shorter than the actual flowering time you'll experience. The best way to check if your plant is ready to harvest is to check the trichomes with a magnifier or use the pistil method (less precise!). Hope this helps ! 🚀

Seeded in small peat pot with Sunshine Soil #4, transplanted 12 days after emergence. Transplanted into medium mix of Sunshine Soil #4, sheep manure, worm castings. Top dressed with worm castings and bonemeal partway through veg.

Hi@@@BeanswithPork, Easy Answer yes it is possible!!. That is Mother Nature... isnt it great those varieties=?. I most time grow 3 plants at once, same strain etc,, and they are always different, there is always an Alpha and some followers^^And some productprescriptions are just signpots.... you can look but dont have to believe them, its always different to the description ( never had a grow like " Plan") You got to remember, that the seeds are from different plants, ive tried to pick the most similar seeds to have similar Plants, sometimes it works, but most times not I appreciate it to see the Varietys of the Strain... Happy growing They look amazing

you have N-lockout, you can tell from the burnt tips and yellowing of the lower leaves even though you're feeding N. hope this helps !

@@BeanswithPork, you're right basically !

@@BeanswithPork, woooops, yeah you're right it's not lockout it's deficiency , but to answer your question, yes: different nutrients kind of regulate eachother especially micro nutrients and the ratio is particularly important for example NPK ratios.

@CRiSPrGrow, interesting. Does oversaturating nitrogen usually cause nitrogen lock-out, or is it other nutrient excesses/imbalances that can cause nitrogen lockout? The only nitrogen via liquid food the plant has gotten since veg would be in the blackstrap molasses. In other words is this the indication to cut back on the molasses, or could it be salts/imbalances from the 0-10-10 Alaskan Morbloom as well?

@@BeanswithPork,That was purely deducted through my experience, but correctly flushed plants will develope stronger aroma,on the other hand overfeeded plants tend to nothing(they also taste like #~#@~€|@)

@MadameMary, thanks for the information. Any other factors that could lead to low aromas? Before legalization, aroma was the common fear for people but I have found that as overblown with so few plants growing.

@@BeanswithPork,low humidity and temperatures normally enhances the aroma, the hot and the mold are the facts who can destroy your terpenes.
