(I think I let the previous soil get too dry. The seeds I transplanted into the red solo's did not make it and the taproots had shriveled and browned. Started again today.)
11/1/24 - Placed into damp paper towel. waiting for germination to start.
Will be using a red solo cup method for the first few weeks until transplant into 3G fabric pots.
My soil will be Coast of Maine Stonington Blend in the 3G pots.
Will continue using Fox Farms liquid nutrients as well.
11/5/24 - Back into the red solo cups they go. had about 1 inch taproot each.
11/7/24 - Tiny green sprouts! Hey girls!
11/10/24 - Transplanted both into their final 3G pot homes for the next few months. Also watered them both with approximately 60 ounces of pure water. I changed soils for this grow and will be using Coast of Maine Stonington Blend with a bit of added perlite.
11/14/24 - Watered both with 32 ounces of water with calmag each.
12/8/24 - Watered both with 32 ounces of water with calmag. I noticed some rust spots and yellowing. I think my old PH meter was dorked up and the PH is off. got a new one and will be testing the water again.
12/15/24 - I have been neglecting them both pretty hard. Things have been crazy the past few weeks. I have a water issue I need to figure out. And need to start nutes as well. Will be doing that later this week. Watered both with 32 ounces of water with calmag.
12/17/24 - Watered both with 32 ounces of water with nutes. Realized I should have started the nutes two weeks ago. Oh well.
12/19/24 - Watered both with 32 ounces of water with nutes.
12/21/24 - Watered both with 32 ounces of water with calmag only.
12/23/24 - Watered 32 ounces with nutes.
12/25/24 - Watered 32 ounces of water with calmg only.
12/27/24 - Watered both with 32 ounces of water with nutes.
12/29/24 - Watered both with 64 ounces of water with calmag. Also on the 28th, I spent a little time doing some LST to pull some of the main kolas apart to provide some air into the canopy and spread things out a bit.
