Starting some autos. 5 - since that's how many seeds the package brought. Let's see what happens. I am really excited about trying new genetics since I usually just grow from bag seed or the seeds from prior grows which were also bag seed or gifted plants and clones from friends.
Off the bat--Auto seeds are tiny. See the picture. They're like the cuties of the weed seed world. Jaja! I have to say I know nothing of ruderalis other than what I've read in the blogs. 9 weeks would indicate that these seeds should finish by late December. This means that I may have to cover them with a light blanket or plastic bag overnight in the deep of the winter. Fortunately it doesn't get too cold where I live, but the nights can still get a little frosty. The breeder says that this plant loves cold weather--we will see.
All the seeds germinated. I placed them in the soil after they all rooted. Now it's a little bit of luck since I'm growing outdoors. Critters, bugs, birds can all swoop by and eat the seedlings.
Enjoy the diary. That foo Big Rade from South Central L.A. outs. 😁
I got nothing. The seeds all germinated. I planted the roots in the soil. One started to grow, but the birds, pests, bugs were too much. All my seedlings basically got eaten. Live and learn.
My seedlings got eaten up. Saw one with two leaves and later in the day it was eaten by an animal. Can't say if it was birds or slugs this time. Live and learn.
