Day 9 since Cutting clones from mum - Tiny Roots!
Going to keep the best clone, and give the other 2 away.
I also popped a seed (Critical Kush) and will be tracking that in a separate diary.
After 10 days in the bubble cloner, all 3 have roots and are doing well.
Going to throw the best clone into its own Res later this week. The other 2 will continue in the bubble cloner until they're ready for a friend.
Day 15 from cut - Moved strongest clone to its own res.
Other 2 are still in bubble cloner until my buddy picks them up.
Day 20 from cut - the clone is its own res is about 4x larger than the other 2 in the bubble cloner. the other 2 haven't really grown at all. I added nutrients when i moved the clone into its res, and the bubbler is still only filled with water (6.0ph). neat.
3F - Have 2x Quantum Boards running at 85W each (170W total)
15 tops total - going to keep them pruned
6F - Growing really well - slightly worried that the stretch will grow too close to the lights, so keeping them as low as possible for as long as possible.
F10 - starting to stretch like mad - going to defoliate again soon - canopy is completely full
F12 - Worried the mechanical timer i'm using (it's new) isn't working properly. It's set to turn on at 8am, off at 8pm. The last couple nights i happened to be working in the cabinet until about 9 before i realised the lights hadn't shut off yet... so i checked the timer, and one of the pegs was slightly depressed, and as soon as i touched the timer the lights turned off... i'm thinking there's something stuck, or not moving smoothly, getting caught on a pin without actually triggering it. Buds haven't started forming yet either, so i'm worried this has been going on for longer than i think... fakkkk. time to test the timer.
--- I was right, timer was broken. I only noticed on day 10 of 12/12, so i guess flower officially only started then. fak.
F15 - Timer was broken, so about 10 days behind where i thought i was =(... because of this, they are also about twice as close to the light than i originally wanted (currently 6 inches away). Going to wait a couple more days, then bend them all down lower/horizontally.
F20 - Most tops were 5-6 inches form the lights ... I Pruned/Defoliated/Bent stems down to about 9-10 inches from lights.
F37 - PH dropping daily by 1.0. I use PH-up and top up with tap water (6.9ph) daily which brings it from about 5.2 in the morning (when lights turn on) to about 5.8-5.9.
F60 - Started flushing this week - starting to bulk up but think they can go another couple weeks if i wanted it to... we'll see how it goes next week.
Trichs are around 50/50 cloudy/clear
F64 - Could go another week probably, but sitting around 15% clear, so not bad. I don't like much amber/couch lock anyway, so harvesting when i have time.
Can't say anything bad about Fruit Punch by Heavyweight seeds. Been growing for a year now, and is an incredibly resilient plant. Took clones since seed and have had 4 harvests since. Highlyyyyy recommended.
No issues growing this 4th round from clone! Couldn't have picked an easier strain to grow for my first few grows, and no issues whatsoever. Will post an update in 5-7 days after drying is completed with a smoke report!
Dry after 5 days at 24c and 45%rh. Total yield was 135g buds (20% dry weight).
Smokes just like the previous harvests from it's mothers! Delicious and highly recommend giving this strain a try!
My biggest struggle has always been cutting clones, ive polinated and feminized my own pollen and seeds but never could i come close to a successful clone. Youve got a great cab and talent my friend

@H0B0, I usually take clones from any branch that looks established - meaning, if it has 2-3 nodes on it, and is about 5-8 inches long, it's good to go. I've taken clones from topping, from the bottom of the plant (undergrowth), side branches, etc... all of them have worked for me. You might get slightly different results (faster/slower rooting) depending on where you take them from, but overall they should root regardless.
If you look at the week 1 pics of my diaries, you'll see roughly how big the clones were when i cut them. Some have been pretty small too, and still worked.
@thephalanx420, i got all the material and got a aeroponic cloner given to me but its more the action of how and whem to take clones, like how do i know when is right or when is ready or am i cutting the right branch or because i dont top it or fim it will i never be able to take a clone cause theres only one main cola?
@H0B0, make a bubble cloner. I just cut branches, trim the leaves a bit so they aren't bulky and huge, stick the stem in aerated water (air pump and airstones), and a humidity dome over them. you might have to add a tiny bit more water at some point, but i've never had a clone that didn't root within 10-15 days.
Loving your custom cloner setup. Can't tell you how much money I've spent only to go back to the basics..... a bucket and a pump :D
Keep on keeping on friend :D
Bud looks very tasty and that cabinet is amazing really well done. May have to steal a few ideas from you when I next tweak my wardrobe setup between harvests, kinda just threw mine together but definitely gonna look to install some proper vents like how you have it. Enjoy the fruits of your labour, well earnt!
looking beautiful! I just looked through this diary and your others for this strain after looking at it on oaseeds, I would really like to grow this strain in the near future. Good luck with your harvest!
