the Mimosa x Orange Punch was not looking good, she was slowly dying and had stopped growing for about 10 days💔
I started a new seed from the same strain🌱🍊
The new Mimosa x Orange Punch germinated 25.10.24, a day later 26.10.24 she stuck her head out of the soil to say hello to the world.🌱🍊
I topped the other 3 girls on the same day, 26.10.24, for the first time.
I transplanted the girls today on 29.10.24, as of right now they look very healthy and seem to like their new pots, no signs of transplant shock.✅
I gave them about 12g of Green House Feeding BioGrow each and some Mycorrhizae to help the roots start off quick in their new shoes.⚡️
Very happy with this grow so far. :)
I hope the Mimosa x Orange Punch will catch up to the others, as of right now, i don't really know whether i will top her or not, as the time she isn't in shock from topping could be well spent developing more lower branches through LST, we will see about that though.🌿⚡️
This week I decided to start bending over the tops a little bit to encourage some lower branch growth.📈
The Gelato is showing signs of overwatering, not too worried about it though. She will make it !😋
The Gelato bounced back from overwatering after being transplanted to her final 12L fabric pot. 🌿
All the other plants are doing well, the Royal Skywalker is by far doing the best and is the biggest. 🥇
The Dos Si Dos has a little nute burn, apart from that she looks very healthy.✅
I started a little bit of LST with self made LST clips from garden wire to fill out the canopy.💪
Plucking the odd fan leaf blocking lower branches here and there.
sending these ladies into flower soon!
On day 37 of veg I installed a trellis net & the girls got their last defoliation before flower. I didn't defoliate the Mimosa x Orange Punch because she is far behind the other plants. 🌱
I also lollipopped the girls today to increase airflow below the canopy & help them redirect their energy towards forming bigger buds.🍭
After giving these girls a top dressing with Green House Feeding BioBloom (50g for each plant), I flipped the light cycle to 12/12 on 18.11.2024, we are officially flowering now!!!🌸
Can't wait to see how these girls will develop their own unique look, smell & taste🤤
They have started stretching, especially the Gelato, and are growing about 1-2cm in height each day as of right now (24.11.2024).⚡️
Apart from plucking 2-3 leaves off some plants im not doing anything to stress these girls out.🏼
All of them are looking very good so far.✅
On day 9 they received water mixed with Green House Feeding BioEnhancer ph adjusted to 6.5.🚿
On day 11 I installed a second trellis net to help control the stretch, therefore forming a more even canopy.💚
I also plucked a couple of leaves that were overshadowing prime bud sites but I made sure not to overdo it.
On day 14 I did a slightly bigger defoliation to open up the canopy a little bit for the lower bud sites to recieve more light penetration.
I also removed some lower growth.
From here on out, until day 21, i will only be removing the odd leaf here and there, if any. ✅
The girls are drinking water like crazy, still stretching.
On day 18 I did a big defoliation again because I was getting worried about the light penetration and airflow deeper into the canopy.
The Mimosa x Orange Punch caught up great to the other plants and is filling out her part of the canopy nicely
Today I came back from my vacation.
While stripping some leaves blocking prime bud sites and airflow, I discovered that the Dos Si Dos 33 hermied! She is a so called “true hermie”, so I partly blame myself and I partly blame genetics.
Upon discovering that, I removed the plant from the tent and took my time to remove ALL pollen sacs. I decided not to remove the plant completely because the damage was already done, some pollen sacs had already bursted in the tent.
From now on, I’m going to watch this plant closely, looking out for any sacs that could be growing again and instantly removing them.
They are fattening up pretty nicely now.
The Gelato looks extremely dense, cant wait to see how they look come harvest time!!
All of the plants seem to be lacking sufficient calcium.
I will be watering them with CalMag the next time.
Apart from that everything seems to be okay, im not seeing any seeds growing yet.
The Mimosa x Orange Punch is showing signs of Nitrogen deficiency, I’m unsure whether or not to do something about it, and or what to do about it this late into flower.
The Gelato is showing signs of CalMag deficiency, just like the Royal Skywalker & the Dos Si Dos 33.
Buds are fattening up more and more.
I have seen about 4 seeds growing in the Gelato so far, but it will definitely be more, I just know it.
My bad for not being there while the Dos Si Dos 33 hermied.
The plants are slowly but surely starting to fade more and showing their true colours!
Very happy with how its going so far.
The Dos Si Dos 33 didnt produce any more pollen sacs as far as i could see.
I’ve spotted some more seeds growing in these buds.. not a big surprise though.
So far I’m still not doing anything except plucking the odd leaf here and there and ensuring the environment stays optimal.
These girls have gotten a nice fade now, the gelato has been ready for harvest for 1-2 weeks now, the Mimosa x Orange Punch is almost there, she would need about 1 more week. The Royal Skywalker is about ready now too and the Dos Si Dos 33 too. That’s why I have decided to give these girls 2 more days of light and then I will be giving them 48-72 hours of darkness before finally harvesting them.
