underdog Just taken the seedlings out of the propagator. Transplanted them to a Oxyclone DWC system to speed up root development before I transplant them to the full size Alien RDWC XL system. Using my grow room where I have some Gorilla Glue which is almost finished to harvest. The lights are philips full spectrum so I think they will get enough blue light. 21. jan. Added some new pictures to show how quick you get good root development with a mini deep water system. Changed the res. today because my grow room is to hot with over 28 °C and I dont want to risk root rot. New res. is 16 °C, 320 ppm and 5.8 PH. I will use bottles with frozen water to try to keep the res. below 22 °C. Using my grow room is not optimal since my almost ready Gorilla glue needs a lower humidity and temp. then my new seedlings, but the GG will be ready to harvest in a week, and then I can optimize the grow space for the new ones. Next batch I will have a seperate seedling/grow tent. Hopefully I have not increased the ppm to much. I know I need to be careful with nuts for autos.

underdog By using the mini seedling bubbler system I have gotten very good root development in a week. This way I save time since the plants roots are big enough to access the new reservoir. I also dont have to top feed them when I transplant them to a bigger reservoir since the roots already reach the new res. From my small experience I have seen that my autos dont react badly on changing reservoir as long as I keep the same temperature and ppm the first 24 hours. My Gorilla Glue is not finished before a week so I had to use these 2 larger containers as a «pit stop» for my new GGC and Blackberry autos. Before transplanting I always add the water and air pump in the res for a few hours with added OxyPlus to make sure I kill all bad bacterias from earlier use. I put the lava rocks for the new pots in water and clean them with Oxyplus and then I PH the water in a bucket to 5.8 before transplant. Also testing 2 new COB lights on the new seedlings to see if it will improve the growth.

underdog WEEK 5 FLOWER Been a busy bee and have not had time to update before now. BLACKBERRY - Did a scrog on them to even out the canopy. When I did it last time on LSD-25 I was fixing the canopy every day to keep it even. I am not doing that now after I have done the first scrod because I feel it can impact the yield even if it is LST. - I got some yellow spots on a few leaves. Dont know if they dont get enough of the extra CalMag I add? GIRL SCOUT COOKIES - The girls was «out of control» so I had to do a defoliation on them to help the buds get some lights. I know you are not supposed to do that on Autos, but I have had no problem with it the last times I have done it. They might get stunned for a day or 2, but they normally come back and keep on developing until the buds are big and ready to be harvested.

Yeah, most probably it is a calcium and magnesium deficiency. It happened to me several times when I was trying to grow without CalMag. You should sort it out the necessary needed by your plant, each one being different

Hi @underdog! Yep it looks like a Calcium deficiency. Add some more Cal/Mag to your reservoir and progressively slow down on Nitrogen intakes as the stretch will end. Affected leaves won't recover so you can tuck them away once they're half dead but the new growth should be healthy. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing! 👊
