first grow on the cheap

A few of the leaves are looking kind of sick, but they're still growing like crazy will update some more pics later. I think this soil has bad drainage, it's got a lot of sticks and things in it. Started testing pH as the water in this city leaves deposits on my taps. Water is 7.8 from the tap, then goes down to 6.0 once Advanced Nutrients "Grow", "Micro" and "Bloom" are added. I tested runoff pH and it's around the 6 mark as far as I can tell with an aquarium test. They have a faint spicy smell now which slowly fills the house while I am at work
