Super easy first grow. Has a nice kushy and sweet smell to it. Had no apparent nutrient issues. The plant stayed really small, probably from my novice attempt at LST and watering issues early on. Still trying to learn how to water autoflowers in a large pot during the first couple weeks.

It seemed to work to filter the smell really well at first but as the grow went on, the smell filled my basement. Currently working on routing the duct hosing to a vent hole out of the house.

The dos si dos first true leaves seem to have some curling downward on the some of the sides of the leaves. Is this a concern? Also, does the color look ok on the leaves? I think it overall looks healthy but can't tell if I may be over/under watering.

She looks perfectly healthy. Look on the new growth it’s perfect. Old leaves and old growth can easily get weird looking. In the flowering stage the big old leaves can get very dark because of too much nitrogen in them. But if the new growth looks like this there is nothing to worry about then you know she’s healthy. You want the new growth to be fresh and a little lighter in the color than the rest of the plant. Good luck my friend! I can’t wait to watch this girl grow up 😎

Haven't watered in 3 days. The soil dry on top but darker a few inches down and feels cold/slightly damp. Not sure if that is considered "wet" still. The larger leaves are almost touching the soil. I'm just trying to be extra cautious not to overwater but still learning the plant

High Khando, this drooping does show the lack of oxygen at the roots. You can prevent this issue by only watering at the outside of the pot and not too close to the plant. When you do this the plant has enough water at the outside of the pot and enough oxygen at the center of the pot. This will solve the drooping. Happy Growing Buddy! 💚

This Dos si dos Auto has been struggling over the last couple weeks with upper leaves turning purple and drying out/breaking apart. The buds also look strange to me but that may just be from my inexperience. I'm growing in organic soil and have dry amended twice, 18 days apart.

Your plant looks amazing—those purple hues are stunning! 🌿 It seems your plant might be naturally turning purple due to its genetics, especially since it was bred from Purple Indica. This is quite common and becomes more likely when temperatures drop below 20°C (68°F). The darker color can raise leaf surface temperatures slightly, which might explain why the edges of some leaves have dried out—they were likely already stressed and reacted to the change. Keep up the great work; this is a beautiful grow! 😻

I didn't see in your diary what you are feeding but I would lower the dose just a little, especially if your still using nitrogen. Idk what intensity you're running your light at but either lower intensity or move the light higher. You want to do this toward harvest anyways so you don't hurt the trichomes and top buds, plus the lower intensity triggers cooler temps which preserves terpenes, as well as other benefits. Still have some white pistils that need to amber and curl but you will want to start watching trichomes on the buds and calyx soon. Trichome maturity is based on if they're indica, sativa, or a balanced hybrid. When the bulbous heads of the trichomes are fully developed but still translucent, plants will produce a "high" and stimulanting effect, less sedative. It is the perfect moment to harvest strong Indica strains. When these bulbous heads turn milky is probably the best moment to harvest most available hybrids. When 70% of these trichome heads are milky and 30% amber, it is the perfect time to harvest mostly Sativa hybrids and long flowering strains (like Haze).

Light is bit too high for the leaves, but i wouldnt change anything. you cant just adjust the light too one topcola, than the rest of the plant is left behind, so i would just take it. If you want you can suppercrop single topcolas to your prefered height in your next run

@BarneyRumble420, thank you! Definitely my weakest of my 3 plants of my first ever grow, but still very excited. Trying to make sure I do the dry/cure process as well as I possibly can.
