Started germination today in our shop. Gonna check on Monday how the seeds are.
I was positively surprised when I saw the seeds, every single one is thick af!
All sprouted, well and healthy, although a friend killed the GC during transplantation, so I replaced her with a Mango Sherbert I had as a backup.
On top I made 2 mistakes.
1. My dumb ass didn't clean the dome of the propagator, so the seeds had way too less light and they grew a bit too tall.
2. I transplanted them into the autopots way too early since I didn't read the full manual that's online.
So far I am impressed by the stable genetics. Popped a few more Humboldt seeds for customers and I have a 100% germination rate so far.
All plants are in 15L pots (3 in autopots), housed in a Homebox Ambient 120R. Lights used are 2 linked Mars Hydro TS 1000 (2x150w) dimmed to ~25%. I did a full watering of every pot with the whole Biotabs scheme, so no watering for the next ~2 weeks.
I'll keep you guys updated!
They survived the nutrient burn pretty well that they got from early transplanting. All have been connected to the autopot tank.
The Mango Sherbet has been topped, the Apple Blossom and one OCP have been mainlined. Especially the Apple Blossom is growing like hell. Never had better genetics so far. Even though I topped/mainlined them there hasn't been any slow down or still stand in growth at all.
Also I've connected the pump to the airdomes on the first 3 in the lower row as the leaves already reached the edges of the pots.
Nothing new, things just keep rolling. The AB has already been topped twice. I decided to get the OCP with only one branch left through, that will probably teach me more than the other easy going ones. Pics had been taken at d26.
