Trying out a new strain :
First time critical grow - my environment is my basement which is very cold in the winter.
The 400watts HPS power in a 20/4 light cycle should be enough heat to let the plants grow properly.
This week they should start building a root system - as they are autos I put them into their final pots already because they should not be stressed more as they already are because of their short lifetime.
I am doing a little experiment for myself - to compare the yield and quality of a 7L pot to a 3.5L pot.
There are already little pre flowers.
The first white hair are showing up and this means it's time for their first light feeding of the flowering nutrients.
Stay tuned.
First flowering week and they are booming!
They react so good to the 24/7 light cycle and the flower nutrients.
They grow very evenly and the plants form a nice canopy.
They shoot up in height.
Now they are about half a meter big.
Their buds start to get huge already.
I hope the trichome production will kick in next week.
Flushing week!
For now on my plants only receive water without extra nutrients.
The buds are thick and frosty, just right I would say.
I am amazed how productive a autoflower strain can be if it receives 24hours light per day.
Harvesting in about 7-10 days. :)
Smoking Critical from BulkSeedBank was quite an experiece.
I first smoked it on a party where I brought some samples for me and my friends.
After 1 week of flushing and 3 weeks of curing the buds were really tasty and the smoke was not harsh at all.
As the plant has around 18% THC my friends and I were stoned after 1 joint - We smoked another one but it was later that evening.
The sativa part of the plant was very overwhelming at first, but then, after around 20mins the smooth chilling effect of the Indica part kicked in.
I really like smoking this strain , even outside and on partys - totally recommend :)
Growing Critical from BulkSeedBank really suprised me because of the good price-performance ratio of the seeds.
For only 3€ per seed and a pretty good yield I can say this seedbank was totally worth a try.
First I was worried if they will survive my low temps, but as it got warmer in mid-March I saw that my plants are totally healthy.
I didn't do any training (except for a little bit of LST to prevent heavy height-growth) so it was a really chilled grow where I just leaned back
and looked what my plants will do.
I really didn't think that this grow will be that easy.
- I can just say that you should try this cheap seedbank for yourself because the results are amazing!
