Burmese Thai

Yooo been had this in the works just haven’t made a diary for it -Basically wanted to try landraces went the The Real Seed Company and grabbed the “Burmese Thai” - Got 12 seeds popped 6 they were growing well but since they are regulars I tested for sex -Got 4 Males 2 Females culled 3 males and kept the fastest growing one and both females -Topped recently and is responding well to it -No nutrition outside the soil being re amended with build a soil craft blend as landraces the breeder said they were sensitive to nutes. -Will top dress later at half strength - I’m flipping them to flower soon so they don’t outgrow my tent as they said this variety gets large hoping for a purple pheno or chocolate brown drying/curing

Week 6 November 15 -ladies looking good since flip -No sign of pre flower but they are strecthing

Week 7 November 22 - glad I topped when I did cause these ladies just want to stretch. -About as tall as the DBHP in the tent and also saw pistils today on P4 so officially in flower -just bottom watered with 6.5pH water with CalMag and Recharge will top dress and water in later this week

Week 8 November 29 -I think they finally stopped stretching we will see this week but it’s looking good -Watered with 6.5pH water with Epsom Salt and homemade LABs 5ml/gal -Defoliated the bottom 3rd of the plant as well

Week 9 December 6 -Yoooo so they stretched too far and I had to super crop shortly after last weeks update -Pheno 4 had to be super cropped and they have gone into full flower so hoping they won’t stretch anymore -Top dressed with 1 tbsp of Gaia green power bloom and top watered

Week 10 December 13 -Had to super crop P4 again as this one is growing straight into the light -water every other day and top dressing every two weeks -not sure how long she’ll go but we looking decent

Week 11 December 20 - Super cropped twice and P4 is still reaching past the light smh will super crop again to keep this lady under control -P3 is looking good not as bushy but she was the slower to flower so probably expected -All in all a good week just gotta keep up with their growth

Week 12 December 27 - might have to super crop again but other than that they are doing well -some trichomes on P3 and she smells like incense and fruit on the backend surprising because she smelled like nothing on the stem rub -riding this one out hopefully the 11/13 schedule helps to finish them faster

Week 13 January 3 -She is becoming more leafy and producing resin a more fruity smell than last week -having a bit of trouble with the 1 gallon pots I might have potential lockout in P4 as I see some leaves dying off will monitor

Week 14 January 10 -no more super cropping just waiting -P3 is becoming more leafy also has that metallic mango hazy smell while I’m getting incense from p4 -just giving power bloom every 2-3 weeks Calmag every other watering

Week 15 January 17 - ladies are just putting on weight now and becoming denser -P4 isn’t smelling like much but smelled like incense on the stem rub -P3 is smelling like metallic mango like a metal smell at the end of tropical fruit really like the structure of this one as well -week 10 of flower so hopefully 4 more weeks but realistically like 8 :(

Week 16 January 24 -okay so no more top dressing moving forward because I want her to finish and not keep growing lol -other than that just need a watering everyday and alternating between plain water and water with LABS/recharge -taking in a more funky smell in P4 but is still retaining that tropical fruit hazy metallic smell as well

Week 17 January 31 -just trucking along. Have to stay on top of watering as both plants will be dry by the end of the day if I don’t bottom water AND top water a bit. Gives be about 1 1/2 days until I have to water again. -since they are going longer I’ve just been using Calmag in every watering but I am no longer top dressing but I am using Ferments specially a hemp ferment and flower fuel to feed the buds not the plant. That’s because I read equatorial varieties will keep growing if you keep feeding and I need these girls to finish a bit faster. -sorry for the long update

Week 18 February 7 - Can tell buds are starting to become denser - too early to tell if she’s gonna turn purple but they say the green pheno is the more potent of the two

Week 19 February 14 -Looking good. Watering every 2 days (bottom and top watering) -No smells on P4 but found some purple in the top cola so maybe a fade later??

Week 15 February 21 -We cruising this week. Keeping them watered and seeing a few leaves yellow and fall off -Also seeing trichomes and getting loud metallic incense perfume when I touch the buds -Looks good. Smells good. I want a sample
