Nov 12/24: After 17 hours in the pH balanced spring water, transfered to a wet paper towel for 48 hours, keeping the paper towel wet and temp at 75-85F. 2 of the 3 sprouted within the 48 hours with just over 1/4 in taproot, the 3rd took 24 hours more. Seeds transfered to 3gal pots with 65% Promix BX and 35% Perlite. I seem to have to water the media around the seed every 8 hours or so, drying very quick but I am also trying not to drown the seeds. This is my first grow, please let me know if you guys have any suggestions, any and all help is appreciated and encouraged! Will be using the FloraTrio and CalMag along with LST and Maybe topping, I heard topping autos is controvertial, what do you guys think? BTW 3 wet tea towels in the grow box took 40% humidity to 85% when changed 1-2 times per day and a small space heater set at 24C. Nov 13/24: Day 3 in their final pots and 1 of the plants has sprouted, made it above the media, and dropped the seed casing off. the other one is above the media but seed casing is still attached to the cotyledons. Now that they have reached above the media I will start to water around the water bottle humidity domes to encourage root growth. Any tips or recommendations are more than welcome!

Nov 17: All seems to be going well, I think I have the environment dialed, RH could be better but they seem fine with the avg at 55%. One seems a tad smaller than the other, I’m not worried about it yet. The app won’t let me add amount of nutes per L, I’m using .5 ml of micro, grow, and bloom per L of dechlorinated tap water temp of solution kept at about 75F. Will switch to more aggressive feed on week 3 or 4 depending on how they are doing! Thanks for stopping in! This is day 8 from the day I seen the root pop!

Nov 19: The one is growing crazy fast everyday noticeable changes, but the other one is growing a bit slower and looks a bit funky. Both have the same environment as the grow box is only 4x2.5ft, and get the same amount of nutes and water (give or take 50ml). Nov 23: All looking good still, gonna start feeding higher volumes and extending the length between feeds. Any suggestions regarding the amount of turbulence these girls are getting at this stage of life? I think it’s just the right amount!

Nov 29: They seem to be accelerating in veg growth but I see a small portion of the leaf on the smaller plant either grew in mutated or somthing cut it, I haven’t seen a single bug in the box so I don’t think it’s that but you never know, and the bigger plant has some issues near the base of its stem, I noticed it before I did the LST and now I’m wondering if I should have addressed that issue before starting the LST. Let me know what you guys think! Dec 2: Walked into the room and noticed a faint smell, wasn’t any smell last night when I started the LST on the slower girl. Further inspection showed some white pistols on the bigger girl, I believe she is the culprit for the smell as the other seems about a week behind. They are both now LST‘d and leaf tucked. Enjoy the pics and vid’s! Dec 6: I have tied down some of the longer chutes on the bigger plant (will see in week 5 update) to create more airflow and light penetration as I didn’t even realize how bushy the stem and node sections had gotten. I have also cut the chutes coming off the first true leaf. I don’t think I will make any cuts to the smaller one as it’s already a slower growing pheno. Going on a trip starting the end of week secede to late week 8, so I have a automatic feeder coming from Amazon, and I will continue using it through flower to reduce open tent time.

Dec 9: They are looking pretty good as far as I can tell, having trouble debating to cut off some fan leaves or not, this is my first ever grow and I don’t want to stress it out any more than it has. The way I trained the plant is definitely suboptimal, next time I will plant the seed off to the side a bit to have room to bend. Also should I just continue with tucking almost everyday or cut the troublesome leaves covering bud sites? And the bottom node, should I skip the chutes? Is it okay to cut things off at this stage of its life? They are definitely still in preflower as there are only presence of the “V” hairs at each budsite, and smell is very weak.

Dec 12: Growth has been good, leafs started yellowing as I tried a regular watering as opposed to a feed, and they did not take well to it. I’ve read that it’s good to incorporate waterings between feeds, but 24hr later noticed a bit of yellowing on the lower section, 48hr post watering even more yellowing. Dec 18: Going with feed only and yellowing has halted, stretching has officially begun. No adverse effects from the short term nitrogen deficiency (that’s what I narrowed it down to). Playing with budsites to maintain an even canopy, and as soon as I see stretching halt, and fattening begin, I will up the bloom nutes. Dec 20:

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

Jan 17: Almost week 10 here (9 weeks 5 days), I thought I had messed up because they both didn’t swell as quick as I was expecting (never grown before don’t know why I had that expectation lol). But slowly and surely I see them swell bigger and bigger everyday. Tried to up nutes but ended up with minor leaf tip burn, dialled it back. They smell godly and trichomes are progressing well, I estimate 2 more weeks of feed and 1.5 of flush!

Feb 6 They got last feed yesterday and for 7 days they will only get plain water, then chop chop Feb 6 Did some snipping of the dead leaves, just did second last water, one more in 48hrs, then 48 hrs darkness and she’s done… I’m thinking prolly 2 - 2.5 oz off these girls 🥦 PS: trying out 4 plants in 1.5 gal pots next instead of 2 plants in 3 gal. Got some signs of light stress via mid to late flower, so maybe 4 plants might help spread out the energy and increase yeild.

Feb 8 Today marks the 13th week of these girls, it’s been an amazing 1st grow, would highly recommend this strain for first time growers, even the one that had some issues ended up surprising me late flower with new growth, and somehow basically caught up with the strong girl in size, but not density. I learned a lot about how these plants like to be treated, and I will definitely implement new methods to improve my cultivation! See you on harvest day!

All done all done there we go bam First ever successful grow I’m psyched, can’t wait to do four more of this strain under a way better light and see how dense I can get those nugs Recommend any new grower looking to try out some auto flowers.

Got about 45 g dry weight, I tried it out only 24 hours into the cure and it wasn’t harsh at all. It was a good smoke. If you handed me that versus something from a disco, I probably wouldn’t be able to tell. I do consider myself some sort of a connoisseur.
