8/3/19 Week 7 - Day 54
Completed the first heavy scrog tuck tonight, aiming for one more tuck in 3 days, the first day of week 8 and this will also be the flip to 12/12 flower cycle, yeashhhh bud onnnn
11/3/19 Week 7 - Day 57
Unreal bounce back all tops have straighten and pumping back up to the lights. Just got word Iām adding a C99 Fem and OG Kush Fem to the tent she shits about to get real tight, photos of that to come
Whatās the thoughts on topping, this is my first go at a Scrog and Iām unsure when I should top and start LST - my plan is to wait a few more days to strengthen and the top on the 3rd node
If you do fim , it is best to leave the plant at least 10 days before flipping to 12hrs.
This will give each new branch a chance to grow enough away from each other to define themselves .
Nice looking canopy š
About the topping the best moment is between the 5th and the 7th node and about the LST the best time to start is when your stems/branches will be long enough to be bent. You plan seems to be good but I would have top a bit after the 3rd node šš
Wait Until Plant Has at Least 3-5 Nodes (FIMing) or 4-6 Nodes (Topping)- Topping or Fimming a Too-Young Seedling Will Dramatically Slow Down Growth. If You Wait Until Plant is Growing New Leaves Every Day, Recovery Will Be Much Faster. Looks like she is almost there though.
Can anyone help me identity the deficiencies I am seeing on the above leaves, itās only occurring to one plant, I am planning on doing a full flush this Saturday before setting the Scrog net and weaving, I really want to ge this fixed before the pots are set for the remaining life cycle.
Any thoughts would be aweosmeā
Cheers
@Seedtostoned, to me it looks like you may have tobacco mosaic virus. Judging by the yellowing and the hook to the leaves. It might not be but it sure looks like it to me.
@robotdinosaur, I thought this too, we were recommended Go Green from the local Hydro Shop, which use both in the feed and foil spray. I have just upped the dose for this weeks tank and dropped the A & B to see if that makes a difference.
Also flushed hard prior to the above to try reset the salts in the coco
Cheers for the help though I love the support
@Seedtostoned,
Looks like you have mild Ca/Mg deficiency, Ca deficiency being the brown spots at the edges, and Mg deficiency being the light green/whitish in the margins. I noticed that you do not appear to be supplementing any Ca/Mg according to your nutrient list. Try supplementing a combined Ca/Mg solution with your feed and see how they look in a few days.
If that doesn't help, even after a flush, try to be very consistent with the pH of your feed going forward. I doubt that this is the issue, but I have seen brown spotting related to pH fluctuations.
Keep us posted and good luck.
Nice filled scrog! A lot of nice floweringtops!! The yellowing is a Lack of Nitrogen, the girls need a lot in this stage( strech before / in flower) ou can up you nitrogen a little until streching stopped. a big helper is always Calcium and Magnesium to keep the photosynthesis going
I would go with single products / Calcium/ Magnesium/ and a growing fertiliser, if the green get s better and the sigle spot appear new, only calcium and magnesium , you can give pretty high dosages to the plant because it dos not harm her!! Single products without Nitrogen you can find from canna
the damaged leaves will sty as they are.. but the other leaves will become greener an more vitalised, nitrogen is a tricky stuff,,,,, avoid an to much of it... greetings
@Mrs_Larimar, Thanks man thatās so helpful I have given them a good dose of go green which has all three and I think I will foliage feed with it as well to for he next few days till it starts to recover. I might bump up the A&B if nothing happens over the next few days, I am aiming to hit flower cycle this weekend
@Seedtostoned, That would be awesome ! I never done scrog method so to be honest I couldnt really tell you if your doing it right or not to me it seems like you are your net is all filled up and your plants are going to keep filling it up :) :)
Maybe too much. Northen lights usually dont need much of nutrient to grow well in my experience. Neither does the skunk, but i use good soil with nutrients, and watering with plain water every second time. are you watering with nutrients every time?
@WakeUpGreenhouse, Just dropped down the A & B for this week so I hope that helps. Thereās not much info on the strain so this is perfect I may leave them at 1.5ml per L or do you think thatās still on the high side for vege?
Iām running coco perlite medium, feeding every day with nuitz mix, watering to run off every other day.
