day-to-day grow log is in the first photo. In the spirit of full disclosure... I have no idea what type of plant this is other than it is auto-flowering. A friend was suddenly deployed and gave them to me instead of the trash man. They have been in the fridge for over a year in a black air tight container in the back of the veggie drawer. Once i got by-in (aka permission) from the other half we decided to go with a pair of cabinets from SuperCloset. This is my first grow as an adult. I'll leave that right there :-). the cubes were soaked in PH 5.5 for two days before being used. Someone suggested adding a bit of GROW formula to give them a bit to carry them through the week. I gave each cube a 10mil squirt from the res twice a day. It seemed to help. The problem as it was explained is that the RO water has no nutrients at all even cal-mag has been stripped out. Thus my plan to add cal-mag and GROW to the next soaking. The weakling laying down will turn out to be my star. Stay tuned....

This was the week that the germinated seedlings get moved to the GROW cabinet to begin their lighted journey. The water is pretty much RO w/calmag and a very little GROW formula. I did add PlusLife to prevent root rot as well as the Botanicare HYDROGUARD Bacillus Root Inoculant. The water is also chilled to 65 degrees. The water never goes above 66 nor below 64 degrees. Water is circulated with a 500 GPH pump. I am using a BlueLab Guardian Connect monitor for constant TDS/TEMP/PH monitor, recording and alarming. The meter shown above is my dissolved O2 meter that also records the 5 minute readings. I have also included the 10gal oxygen generator from the folks at O2 Grow.... it is friggin awsome!!!!

Botanicare CNS17 BLOOM Plant Nutrient 2-2-3 The day-to-day stats are in the first photo. I continued to step up the Nutrient mix (see the first photo which contains daily grow log details) This week seems to have gone well. I don't see any indication of burn or shortages. Dissolved Oxygen levels have been around 89% as indicated by the monitor i purchased. I continued to step up the Nutrient mix (see the first photo which contains daily grow log details) 1.321 mll
The day-to-day stats are in the first photo. This is their first full week in the GROW cabinet. I have some damage to one of the plants. Looks like it needs Cal-Mag. Will add a bit and see if it helps. I don't want to get to crazy with the nutrients at this early stage. I am gong to increase slowly by mixing nutrients to one gallon of top-off water daily (mix was made to be 3x for a single gallon). I continued to step up the Nutrient mix (see the first photo which contains daily grow log details) This week seems to have gone well. I don't see any indication of burn or shortages. Dissolved Oxygen levels have been around 80% as indicated by the monitor i purchased. The burn/damage is from germination (upper right plant). The stem was not strong enough to support it. I thought it was a goner but propped it up with a blow-pop stick * pipe cleaner. Damned it it didn't recover to be the biggest and healthiest. I continued to step up the Nutrient mix (see the first photo which contains daily grow log details)

MOVING DAY -- All of the plants were moved from the smaller 10 gallon growing cabinet to the new 35 gallon Flower cabinet. The day-to-day stats are in the first photo. Well that was a bust. :-( Had to backup and rethink how i was going to use the new cabinet and not cause myself so much work. So for now we will stay in the GROW box. That being the case AND this is week four after germination, so a 100% res change is due. So the pictures were taken during the transfer to the holding tub that i used; covering the roots with water from the tub. Then i cleaned up the towels used to catch the moisture that gathers on the tub. I have a modification to get rid of that and maintain circulation and humidity.

The day-to-day stats are in the first photo. First signs of buds :-) But damn it is getting crowded! The new Flowering cabinet has arrived but there are several customization adjustments that need to be made. I need to put fans below the tub to keep the moisture from building up on the tub itself and dripping into the bottom of the cabinet causing a fucking mess. The fans put out 240 cu. ft. per minute. They have humidity and temp. sensors that power up the fans in 8 steps based on the adjustable humidity and temp. level. There are alarms that i don't use. I also added an extra KIND XL300 in addition to the Kind XL600 that came with the cabinet. I also added an extra heavy duty 10 outlet power strip. Everything is suspended by 140 lb pull magnets instead of drilling holes in the cabinet. All of these modifications are taking valuable time, while my honey's are getting crowded in the Grow box. I am bound to suffer some damage. We'll see how bad.

This was the actual week of the move to the Flowering cabinet. Although i had the cabinet earlier; it took several days to build it out with the customization work i had planned out earlier while working with the grow cabinet.

Left town for a week on business. Spotted some heat damage, checked the logs from the BlueLab and found that i had 6 hours at 103 degrees. The room temp was over 80 because the AC was not on. We did not expect an 82 degree day in February. It happens around here, but not often. It also looks like i had some nute damage but that was probably just as i was leaving. Going to bet it is nute burn due to the double shot of nutes i gave by accident (long story, substances may have been involved).😄 It looks like it has recovered and now i am looking at running out of room. Need suggestions on what to do. I have about 3 more weeks to go (maybe more). Until next week... Thanks for dropping by.

Harvest is on the horizon. I give the colas another 2 weeks, the one i did top looks like all i am gong to get is popcorn because i ran out of head room in the flower cabinet. Something to be mindful of during the next grow.
