Barzenegger Starting a new grow after 13 years with a new setup and old "bag" seeds, and old fertilizers. Let's see how it goes. 6 of the 8 seeds germinated which was more than anticipated. the seeds were collected 12-15 years ago, it's unclear whether some of them are just hemp.

Barzenegger first issue, one of the plants has some spots on a leaf, which started popping up around the time of a watering, but I was also away for a few days and only got around to watering a few days after I had planned to. so I suspect that it might have been too dry which might have caused the EC in the medium to rise too much? No idea, let's carry on.

Barzenegger Removed the damaged leaves and topped 4 of the plants. One of them is looking really light green/yellow-ish. That plant also has some weird growth, some deformed leaves and hardly any branching. The others are fine. Tried using some of my 12 years expired Canna Terra Vega.

Barzenegger Flipped to flower as the tent was already quite full. The yellow/light green plant is still growing really awkwardly and stretches faster than any of the others. Noticed some spots on the plant that had issues in week 3, it's also getting lighter, so I started adding more fertilizer which I had laying around.

Barzenegger The crazy stretchy yellow plant turned out to be a male and was removed from the tent. The others filled in the space quickly and have finished their stretch. Overall it's not looking too bad at this point. Continued feeding with a tomato fertilizer I had laying around. Added some epsom salts to the water.

Barzenegger Continued feeding with the tomato fertilizer, but I probably overdid it. We'll see. Later in the week I bought some new Canna Terra Flores. Temperatures outside are rising, which will soon become a problem. I turned up the light from 40% to 60% regardless. Removed a bunch of the lower leaves and did some light lollipopping.

Barzenegger I most likely overfed the week before but didn't realize it. We'll carry on and live with it, but it'll get worse in the next weeks. One of the plants (top left in the video) has quite the strong smell now, while the others hardly smell at all.

Barzenegger The buds are getting bigger, two plants have started fading to yellow, while the one in the middle is severely overfed, which I did not realize at the time. Still quite happy with how they looked and that the canopy was quite even without much additional training besides the initial topping. I did bend the center plant's (the only one which wasn't topped) main branch to the side however.

Barzenegger Quite happy with how most of it turned out, even canopy and all, despite the issues. In this week I decided to flush the center plant (A) and switched nutes to Canna, but it was too late already and I was planning to harvest in 2 weeks regardless.

Barzenegger Plants are nearing the finish line. Might not all be quite ready in the next week, but I likely will have to chop them all. I removed some leaves from the center plant (A) and the overfed dark green leaves become obvious.

The plants were incredibly uniform except for the male (E) that I had to remove anyways. I only topped them and sent them to flower shortly after. The remaining plants filled the rather small tent immediately. I did a bunch of mistakes with the tomato fertilizer and probably should have bought new Canna Terra Vega, but I saw it as an experiment, which went better than expected. A is a dud as expected, sadly D is also pretty weak. B is ok, C and F are great, but C is a bit rough and causes me to cough. I forgot to take pictures of 2 of the plants when I was trimming them, so I only have 3 to show.
