The setup is ready! =P
Clones are growing and a bit sad at the moment since it took longer to build the setup than anticipated.
Still having two minor leaks which will be gone by tomorrow. Still waiting on two parts.
I finally got the last parts, found the missing leaks, did flood and drain tests and was able to transplant the clones into their Buckets.
The root mass in the floraflex pots is amazing and I hope they keep rooting like this.
The plants are starting to feel happy in their environment. I did a little defoliation to get rid of old leaves that were not adapted to this high light intensity.
Now all the new leaves are used to the amount of light.
I do 6 pump cycles starting with the first two hours after light induction then three hours afterwards followed by another four cycles with two hours in between and the last cycle with a three hour gap and four hours before the light turns off.
First week of flower went alright. Plants really craved for more nutrients since they were showing first signs of deficiency.
I try to keep the others off the Grapes n Cream (central plant) and cut off branches leaves etc to get enough light in there.
Beautiful plant to grow and look at but the growth pattern is not very suitable for most other strains
All the rest grows fairly equal. Looking to install some fixture poles for the Homebox to have more usable space in the box since the fan really sucks some m².
The plants are still stretching bud bud formation starts to be very visible.
One more week until full defoliation and removal of sucker branches.
The poor Grapes & Cream is being overgrown by all the others. She is not suitable to be mixed due to her growth pattern.
I have some fungus gnats and will add some Bacillus thuringiensis to get rid of them. In a regular system I would go down with the irrigation a little and have a stronger dry back, but we'll... it's hydro 🤣
Last week of high stress climate and high EC level. Next week there will be a drop in EC and a raise in humidity to make the buds swell nicely.
Now that the stretching is almost over and there was almost no light coming to the bottom anymore I decided to make the defoliation a couple days earlier.
They look at little nakedness but I know that it won't be visible in a week or
The plants are really starting to frost up. Even the remaining fan leaves are turning white already. This week I lowered the EC level a little bit just to increase it again in the next week.
