Trying a new way of growing with this setup. 2 Strains, 4 plants in one 40L pot in a 60x60cm GrowTent. Soil has been pre fertilized with Compo organic 7-4-5 fertilizer at a rate of 6.5g/Liter of medium. This ratio has proven itself in outdoor trials this year. so far, the plants seem to love it! Will apply ScrOG technique later to even out the canopy and maximite space utilization.
Plants really enjoying the environment. Had some fungus gnats and applied steinerma feltiae nematodes for control. TNC Myko Mykorrhiza + Trichoderma powder was applied on DAP 11 with a manual irrigation. Growthrates are outstanding sofar. Looking forward to the next weeks!
Plants still going super nicely. Had to cut out a lot of big fan leaves covering new growth. Have them on a more regular watering cycle now as they start drinking alot. Trellis net was installed and scrog is in progress. Going to start flowering soon.
Flower was initiated on DAP 27 with 13/11 light cycle. Plants have been stretching strongly since and are still showing great strength and react well to training applied. Watering is more frequent now, I'd say 4-5 Liters of water per day for all 4. Really liking this setup sofar. No signs of stress or any deficiency. Soil should still be full of nutrients and will only add additional liquid fertilizer if necessary. Defoliation needs to be done daily to keep plants healthy and make sure that all the sidebranches reach the top.
So over Christmas plants got a little hungry I guess. Usually the feed mix is enough to supply them until the end when used in the given ratio. However, this was the first time I tried it with 4 plants/ pot and it seems that 4 plants in a 40l seem to use up nutrients faster than compared to 1 plant in a 10l pot, even though the amount of nutrients stays the same. The OG Kush seems to dislike the conditions more compared to the CreamCaramel as they showed more signs of yellowing. Will further investigate on that issue in the future.
DAP 47 again 5l of 1.9 ec to keep them happy
@Patricia_Zamnesia, Its going to be a rather short veg and going manipulate axillary branches a lot. I am definitely curious how it will turn out :) Thanks !
