Borberad Welcome and have fun reading my diary about Papaya Zoap Auto
The Strain:
Today I’m starting a new grow adventure, this time with Papaya Zoap Auto from Sweet Seeds. This autoflowering strain of the 9th generation promises a taste experience with a complex flavor profile that combines sweet notes of mango and papaya with earthy and spicy undertones. The genetic mix of Bruce Banner Auto, Papaya, Zkittlez, and Zoap sets high expectations.
Why Papaya Zoap Auto?
I chose this strain because it:
* Flowers quickly, providing results in no time.
* Offers a versatile flavor profile that combines both sweet and spicy notes.
Short Growing Guide (based on general recommendations):
* Germination: I will soak the seeds in 1% H²O² and place them in seedling cubes directly in the final 20l fabric pot to germinate.
* Lighting: The flower will get 18 hours of good light daily, but it grows alongside photos in a tent, so the duration cannot be increased.
* Harvest: The approximate harvest time is about 8 weeks after germination. I will regularly check the trichomes to determine the optimal harvest time.
My Goals:
* Healthy Plants: My top goal is to raise healthy and robust plants.
* High Yield: I’m hoping for a good yield of high-quality buds.
* Intense Aroma: I’m curious to see if the promised aromas of mango and papaya will come through in my grow.
What I will document here:
* Daily Observations: Growth, changes, pests, etc.
* Weekly Photos: To visually capture the progress.
* Notes on nutrients and watering: For better traceability.
I’m excited to see how the Papaya Zoap Auto will develop and look forward to documenting my experiences.
Let’s start!
We begin by soaking for 20 hours in 1% H2O2, then the seed goes into a soaking cup which is placed directly in the final pot (20l fabric). I’ve placed it off-center since I won’t be topping, but will let the plant grow crooked from the start.
After just 4 days in the soil, the little flower is already showing beautiful developed leaves, so we can declare the germination phase finished and kick off the first week of growth 🔔.

The little flower is doing great.
I'm not sure if it's LST or Mainlining, so I just checked both. 🍀

Borberad Week 4
Currently, the leaf tips are drooping a bit; I think it’s getting too much water right now, so I’ll reduce the watering a bit. A very low-maintenance little flower that trains really well. However, I need to finish the trimming and training soon; by the end of the week, it will probably switch to flowering.

Borberad Flowering Week 2
Despite really intense training and strong lighting, my little plant is shooting up towards the light. The stretch can't be stopped. 😳
Looks like I’ll need a taller tent. 🙈
As a suggestion for anyone considering getting a grow tent: Don't buy anything under 180cm if you don't want to cultivate only dwarf strains. Pot 20-30 cm + lamp exhaust 10-30 cm. Recommended distance from the lamp is usually 30-40 cm. With a 120cm high tent, you’ll have something between 20cm (in the worst case) and 60cm in the best case. This often isn't clear to many!

Borberad The week is going well and the little plant now has room to grow upwards. It's incredible how big it has gotten. This week was all about lollipopping. The leaves seemed a bit light to me, so I adjusted the nutrient dosage upwards.
Borberad I think it will be the last week, let's see. There was a big potassium boost at the end with Canna Potassium mono 2ml per 1l + 5ml Hesi Bloom and adjusted with phosphoric acid (ph-) to about 0.2ml/l at ph6.3. She still looks a bit hungry 😊 and already smells delicious.

Borberad Last week went smoothly, it could have stayed another 2 to 3 days longer. But I prefer fewer amber trichomes, so it's coming down now.
Congratulations! 👏
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌
