DISASTER STRIKES IN WEEK 9 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Several really cold nights dropped the nutrient solution temp really low and a bad case of bud rot set in. Having been experiencing hardly any ph swing during flowering led me to be a bit too complacent about plant monitoring and i got into a habit of only checking every 3 days............. which is plenty enough time for root rot to fuck a plant over...... so sadly she didnt get a flush as I chopped immediately to begin drying to salvage what I could. overall being my first grow ever I learned that patience is the key to getting it right

By using a water heater like the one you can see in the big aquarium tank to do exactly the same thing : fight the.cold temps. I typed aquarium heater and water heater in Amazon and had plenty of answers in the list , just be sure to choose one that fit with you tank water volume 😊👍

@@lilbp420, hi mate thanks for the info , I have a few aqauariums with freshwater tropical fish like corycats etc so I might utilise one of the more expensive water heaters with the external controls set at around 18- 20 celcius. as for the chiller I will need to save up some $$ for one of those Thanks again mate

@DILLIGAF, if you go the water heater route, go for a heater with an external controler that you can set below at or below 68 degrees. Most cheap water heaters won't go below 68, some really cheap heater dont have any controls at all. I keep my heater at 65 to combat the cold of winter. During summer I'm running a chiller to keep under 72 degrees.
