Germination

Introduction According to Fast Buds this strain grows around 120 cm and yields up to 550 gr/m2 in about 56 days, commands a THC content of up to 26%. She is an indica dominant strain (75%), which grows extremely dense buds so tying down the branches is recommended to improve airflow between the buds and prevent mold and other pests. Due to the bushy foliage, it’s recommended to defoliate gradually throughout the grow cycle as well. Germination I used the paper towel method, the temperature was around 20°C and it was dark. I filled the 5-gallon (19 l, 30x25cm) fabric container with BioBizz All-Mix (it contains 35% garden peat, 30% perlite, 20% sphagnum peat moss, 10% BioBizz Worm Humus, 5% Pre-Mix), but in the middle I left a 7cm plant pot sized hole, what I filled with BioBizz Light-Mix, because it is better for seedlings (it is lightly pre-fertilised). I was moistening the growing medium with 1,5l dechlorinated tap water when I put the seed on the paper towel, because BioBizz recommends it for 36 hours before planting, to activate the dry fertiliser Pre-Mix and the micro-organisms. The seed coat cracked in 48 hours. I put the seed into the soil on the 3rd of December (79 hours later than I put it into paper towels). I think the germination is a bit slow, maybe because of the relatively cold temperature. She finally popped her head out of the soil late at night on 7 December, a week after I started germination, and 13 hours later, she still hasn't lifted her head out of the ground.

The 1st week of vegetation is over, the seedling is growing nicely. I have the grow light set at 50%, currently 45 cm from the seedling. So far, the plant seems to be doing well, although the upward tilting of the leaf edges suggests some light stress. I didn't add any nutrition to the watering this week, but BioBizz All-Mix soil contains 10% organic Worm-Humus and 5% Pre-Mix fertilizer. Since I used a nursing pot-sized section of light-mix soil in the middle of the pot and planted the seed in that, I don't think the roots have reached the fertilized soil yet, but if they have, they haven't really taken up the nutrients from there yet. D1 (08/12/2024): I watered her with a few tablespoons of dechlorinated tap water, and she was given a plastic dome to keep the humidity even. During this period, the plant is tied up in root formation and gets its nutrients mainly from the seed, and until the first true leaves appear, she can get water mainly through the leaves, so the watering was just to help the developing roots advance in the soil. D2 (09/12/2024): I sprayed about 30 ml of dechlorinated tap water at about 5 cm from the plant with a spray bottle to stimulate the horizontal expansion of the roots D3 (10/12/2024): repeated the previous day's watering (30 ml) + left the dome + measured the height of the seedling: 2,5 cm D4 (11/12/2024): - D5 (12/12/2024): - D6 (13/12/2024): 1 litre of dechlorinated tap water was poured into the entire fibre pot, to which the plant reacted with a slight wilting, i.e. too much. 6-8 hours later it had fully recovered. I measured its height again: 3 cm D7 (14/12/2024): -

End of week 2. Unfortunately, I messed up the watering at the beginning of the week, so I stunted the growth for a few days, but by the end of the week we were back on track. At the beginning of the week, I noticed the poor girl was wilting, and as she was getting a relatively large amount of water on day 6, I thought I had overwatered her. Based on both the weight of the pot and the top 3-4 inches of soil, I felt there was enough water in the soil, but it turned out I had underwatered. On the 14th day, I figured the soil must have dried out, so I gave her 50ml of water and she lifted her leaves slightly. D8 (15/12/2024): - D9 (16/12/2024): measured the height of the seedling: 3,4 cm D10 (17/12/2024): D11 (18/12/2024): watered her with 50ml of dechlorinated tap water D12 (19/12/2024): watered her with 100ml of dechlorinated tap water + since I have trips appearing among my houseplants, have put up yellow sheets D13 (20/12/2024): watered her with 200ml of dechlorinated tap water D14 (21/12/2024): measured the height of the seedling: 4,6 cm

In the 3rd week of vegetation, the plant has overcome the previous stall and is growing nicely, I started LST on day 20. This week I started adding BioBizz Bio-Grow and Fish-Mix, adding 1-1ml of both to 1.5 litres of water. End of week 4. The plant is growing nicely, I'm sorry I didn't dare the topping. I continued the same fertilization schedule as last week (1-1ml of BioBizz Bio-Grow and Fish-Mix to 1.5 litres of water), and from D24 started LST. In the middle of the week, I found that since the spacing between the nodes of all three plants in the grow tent was too small, I had to raise the grow light, but did not change the light intensity. D22 (29/12/2024): - D23 (30/12/2024): - D24 (31/12/2024): did LST + watered her with 250 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow and BioBizz Fish-Mix D25 (01/01/2024): - D26 (02/01/2025): did LST + watered her with 300 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow and BioBizz Fish-Mix D27 (03/01/2025): measured the height of the plant: 9 cm + have raised the light source (45 cm 63 cm) D28 (04/01/2025): -

End of week 5, things are going well. The main progress of the week was that the girl on D31 made her first pistils, but they only appeared in place of the future main cola, and this did not change until the end of the week. Accordingly, she became very thirsty, consuming more than triple her previous dose this week. Although not the biggest, she became the biggest drinker of my three plants. I gave her all the water on D32 and then nearly half of the water poured under the pot, partly because most of the plant lies on the soil and I feared she might rot from the moisture, and partly to stimulate her roots to penetrate deeper into the soil. The stretch has started, so a lot of LST was needed. The fertilization schedule remained the same. D29 (05/01/2025): LST + 300 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow and BioBizz Fish-Mix D30 (06/01/2025): LST + 300 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow and BioBizz Fish-Mix D31 (07/01/2025): the first pistils appeared + LST + 300 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow and BioBizz Fish-Mix D32 (08/01/2025): LST + 500 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow and BioBizz Fish-Mix D33 (09/01/2025): - D34 (10/01/2025): LST + 300 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow and BioBizz Fish-Mix D35 (11/01/2025): defoliation

The week was spent with lots of LST and minor defoliation (2-3 leaves). In addition to the usual feed (1-1ml of BioBizz Bio-Grow and Fish-Mix to 1.5 litres of water) I started to add 2-2ml BioBizz Bio-Bloom and Top-Mix. As two plants were already flowering in the grow tent, I increased the grow light intensity (from 50% to 62.5%) on the last day (D42). D36 (12/01/2025): LST + defoliation + 500 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow, BioBizz Fish-Mix, BioBizz Bio-Bloom, BioBizz Top-Max D37 (13/01/2025): - D38 (14/01/2025): LST + defoliation D39 (15/01/2025): 1200 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow, BioBizz Fish-Mix, BioBizz Bio-Bloom, BioBizz Top-Max D40 (16/01/2025): LST + defoliation D41 (17/01/2025): 800 ml of dechlorinated tap water with BioBizz Bio-Grow, BioBizz Fish-Mix, BioBizz Bio-Bloom, BioBizz Top-Max D42 (18/01/2025): increased the grow light intensity

The week continued to be about the LST. Interestingly, stretching was not spectacular. On D44 the first purple pigments appeared in the buds. The plant has a fantastic, strong smell. You've got to stand your water for at least 24hrs so the cholrine evaporates as it kills the soil microbes which make the elemants in the food available to the plant.

You are right. This is what I mean by dechlorination. I usually let the water stand for 3-4 days before watering.
