Hello everyone, i'm happy to share with you my first try with @KannabiaSeedCompany. These two seeds was a bit old, i received them from their stand during the fair Canapa Mundi in 2022 and finally now i have the chance to grow. I would start telling that i must have a long germination/plantula phase because i had some trouble with the other seeds so i waited to start the veg phase until all the plants was ready for. I began putting the seeds in water for 24Hr, after that they was both sunk so i put them in the plugs of Biotabs hoping they work. I feed them with the plug's Startermix of Biotabs until they was wet. This time i decided to be patient and do more steps before putting the plant in the final vase. For first i used a seedling tray to put in the plugs then i transplant them in a plastic cup of LightMix soil of BioBizz placing a 1/4 tsp of Mycotrex of Biotabs in the hole. Only one of them sprouted after 5 days (i circled in red the Colombians) and despite i waited 4 days to transplant, she showed a beautiful root. I continued watering with the solution of Startermix but i noticed, only 10 days, after i had a too low pH in the solution of Startemix (like 4) so i stopped with this and i used only water with the correct pH. At the end of this phase (22/09) she looked healty and a bit ahead respect the other plants having one week more of life. Hello mates, after a long plantula stage Colombian can enter in the vegetative phase with a invidiable condition. She already showed the first adult leaves during the past week, at the beginning of this one she looked very healty so i think i fixed the pH solution in the rigth way. I prepared the pot the day before mixing the Ligth Mix soil by BioBizz with the nutrient BioGrow by Green House Feeding, differently than i did in my last cicle of plants feeding with top-dressing techinque also for the veg nutrient. I added in the planting hole 5 g of Mycotrex by BioTabs so as to give a good partner to the roots, that during the transplant they looked so beauty and healty although they didn't cover all the soil. At the end of the week Colombian show a good internodal distance, i must thank @BioTabs for giving me some very helpful advice to menage the intensity of the light. Hello mates, we are inside the second week of vegetation. The first thing i changed is the led intensity, increasing at 60% both, because at the end of the past week i had see all the plants in my tent that they had a good internodal distance so i wanted to stimulate the growth of the new sprouts. Colombian was the only one that had a good growth of new sprouts, a step forward with also bigger leaves but with a structure more compact compared to the others in the tent. I haven't an instrument to check the ppfd or PAR so i can only look the plants and then valuate if it's worth to raise the intensity. Clean week for Colombian, I did the first topping and pruning of the flower branches and leaves the 03/10 to have the three internodals with the corresponding pair of branches. After three days she started growing again in a good condition. Environment info: Average T - RH : 24.6°C - 67.1% Average VPD: 1.02kPa Tmax - Tmin: 26°C - 21°C RHmax - RHmin: 75% - 51% Light schedule: 1 LED 60% 100W - 18Hr on / 6Hr off - 70cm from the plant 1 LED 60% 100W - 18Hr on / 6Hr off - 70cm from the plant Feeding: BioEnhancer: 0.5g/L Water info: Base water with 4:1 ratio (demin:tap water) with 0.2g epsom salts added to balance salts on 5L. Hello mates, third week week of vegetation. Colombian Jack reacted well a week after topping (10/10), she had a good growth in all branches that increased thier dimension but they didn't stretch a lot despite i had pruned the two lower two day before. She has a structure that remind me more an indica strain than a sativa, as you can see she has big fan leaves with few tips and for now a bushy structure. Badly in the 11/10 i noticed the tipical sings of Ca defiency in the lower fan leaves most on Colombian than on the other plants in the tent so this meant i did something wrong with my Ca/Mg rate in the base water. I checked again how much grams of Epsom salts i must put in the base water and there finally i found my fucking mistake, i was 10x wrong about the unit of measurement. I always put 0.2 g/L of tap water and this was the mistake because i should have put 0.02 g/L, I completely reversed the problem of the tap watear that normally have more Ca than Mg. Anyway Colombian had a good condition and a good growth in fact the last day of the week i did a defoliation and pruning in the lower part of the plant. Environment info: Average T - RH : 25.1°C - 66% Average VPD: 1.09kPa Tmax - Tmin: 27°C - 23°C RHmax - RHmin: 76% - 61% Light schedule: 1 LED 60% 100W - 18Hr on / 6Hr off - 70cm from the plant 1 LED 60% 100W - 18Hr on / 6Hr off - 70cm from the plant Feeding: BioEnhancer: 1g/L Water info: Base water with 4:1 ratio (demin:tap water) with 0.2 (g/Ltapwater) epsom salts added to balance salts on 5L (wrong amount of Mg, i leave here only this week). Hello mates, welcome inside Colombian Jack's fourth week of vegetation. In my first plan i had to do only 3 week of vegetation but the problem with Ca caused a generic slowdown in the growth of the plants so i added this week to have more time trying to fix the situation. Despite i finally had a rigth rate of Ca/Mg, one week after i saw again bad signs of Ca defiency in the lower leaves. More of that during this week Colombian didn't stretch a lot, she developed more the leaf structure than the elongation. Considering her condition i decided to do a bit of pruning and a big defoliation to let the ligth hit the smaller branches hoping this will help her vertical growth. Hello mates, welcome inside Colombian Jack's first week of flowering. I did some changes in my environment: i placed the net for ScrOG method at 30-35cm from the pot; I changed the light schedule raising at 80% the power of both LEDs and setting at 45 cm from the net; I fed all the plants in the tent with top-dressing thecnique, i gave to Colombian Jack 60 g of BioBloom of Green House Feeding; I put in the tent the dehumidifer; I changed the ratio in the Base water raising the amount of tap water so 3:2 ratio (demin:tap water) because i saw that some had the first signs of need, others more serious. During this week Colombian was the one of them that sufferd a lot for Ca defiency, compared to the other plants in the tent she was the smallest. In fact she didn't stretch as i expected but she has increased slowly her crown. I did also LST with defoliation and pruning trying to stimulate her vertical growth but at the end of the week she was still struggling. I didn't a big pruning for her because she wasn't so healthy so i was light 😅. We will see the next week if Colombian might recover. Hello mates, welcome inside Colombian Jack's second week of flowering. As expected, we didn't have a miracle but there was an improvement in the condition linked to the Ca imbalance. At the beginning of the week she showed again a normal vertical growth and the spots slowed down. Given that this time i did a big defoliation and big pruning also because, the plant being still very short compared to others, the ligth didn't reach properly the lower part of the plants and the centre of plant crown.
