Greetings,
It's finally time to do some growing.
This time i decided to try some Photoperiods from Fast Buds.
I always had pretty good results with autoflowers from them.
Germination was pretty easy and all five showed their little head pretty much at the same time - after only two days.
Week 1,
everything is looking fine.
It's a bit cold currently but it's fine for me, i know it will be better when i give them more light.
Currently only one LED is on and runs at around 50% to keep the costs low.
Week 2,
Even if it's a little to cold, they're doing the Job pretty good.
As u can see i laid down a sticky trap to catch the mourning gnats that i have to deal with.
I always have some flying around but its fine, if the sticky trap didnt catch them, the pitcher plant left to them will. 😉
Week 3,
as you can see our cat loves these Plans. If i'm in the Tent, he's too ^^ and as long as they aren't flowering i'm completly fine with it.
The Temps are getting better, the light runs at around 60% and will stay at this for a while.
Nothing more to say at this stage.
so keep growing
Week 4,
I topped all 5 and keep twisting and bending for more light penetration, even though its a little bit more work, to go in every day and repeat these steps.
I dont know why but i prefer this method, i find if you tie them up its more likeley that the stem breaks, for me atleast.
Week 5,
after checking the roots i decided to transplant them.
So i mixed
150 L soil,
225g Bio Grow, the soil has some fertilizer in it, so it should be enough
roughly 10% Worm Humus
and i put some Bactrex in it but i dont know how much, i pretty much eyeball it.
I decided to use about 25L per pot to have some room later.
It's quite a big jump for these small plants so i didnt want to stress them to much an plugged only the big leaves and keep twisting and bending.
Thats it for now.
Week 6.
i plucked some leaves here and there, nothing special, but by doing it, one main branch almost broke so i decided to bind them together that the plant can heal.
Thats pretty much it.
Week 7,
as you can see installed one netting to spred them a little and did some defoliation, again.
I need to say that these ladys are freaking resistent whatever i did, literally one day later, everything was looking good, healthy and strong.
I will switch the light to 12/12 in a couple of days but for know i need to wait before the fertilizer is here ^^.
Week 8 and finally time to switch the light schedule to 12/12.
For the Flowering phase i gave them about 4g Bio bloom per L of medium
Sprinkled some bactrex
and about 10% Worm Humus.
Also i removed the netting and put it back in to make them even wider.
Week 9 and the 1st of in the flowering stage.
i need to say that yesterday (20. January) i saw the first since of flowering even though the Setup runs at 12/12 since 11th January.
Everything looks fine, and i hope for a big stretch, for that, i installed a´second netting.
Also i picked some leaves here and there, nothing special before Week 4 of the flowering stage.
The second week after i switched to 12/12.
The stretch is okay i would say.
One Pheno (the one in the front left) ist smaller then the other four, apart from this, it's looking good.
Week 3,
as you can see, Buds are forming and we get a hint of what can come in a couple of weeks.
There is one Pheno with an weird mutation i didn't see before, Looks like a leave on another leave, or a spider if you ask me.
