My plant was stretching due to only using the veg switch on my grow light and having the light source to high, about 700mm. I then flicked both bloom and veg switches on and lowered the light to 450mm in week 2/3

It was an extremely hot week this week, with high temperatures i had to lift my lights as there was notable heat stress on the edges i could see the curl inward effect pronounced which told me to act quickly.

This week this baby has start preflowering which gives me very little time to get more growth out of her. I also noticed 3 little thrips which were instantly killed. Measures taken included making a foliage spray using Ludwig's insect spray with ingredients ( Canola, Garlic, Pyrethrum ). This stuff had a strong garlic smell, the product says on the box that edible fruits and vegetables may be consumed after 48 hours of use. So i figured this stuff should be fine for cannabis? I wanted to use neem oil initially but read to many negatives and used this method instead. In week 3 i decided to start LST training my plant to expose more light to the bud sites

it all depend on what type of infection you are talking about if its spider might go ladybugs *perisimilis if your taking root Roth try piranha/voodoo juice/tarentula it should eat all bugs and use them or the old trick before curing submerge your bud in a blow of water and watch bugs leave lol(i never try this yet)

Hi @YetiGrowth! Well the best way to fight against thrips is ... not to attract them at first 😋 Pest prevention is an essential topic, you need a pest-prevention-strategy as soon as you plant your seedlings, during the first days. My strategy is pretty simple and consists in 3 methods: 1) I have an electric atomizer working 10min every hour to diffuse essential oils mixed with fresh water (a few drops of lemongrass, lavender, peppermint...you can find those oils in nature-stores or online). Those oils are repelling insects/pests, they don't like the smell of my room. 2) I spray neem-oil mixed with crushed garlic everyday when the light turns off, 10-12 drops of pure neem-oil mixed in a liter of temperated water, this oil is really efficient to kill/disturb/sterilize thrips. When I'm in the flowering stage, I don't spray but I use a sponge to treat the affected plants if the enemy is still there. 3) I use a dedicated foliar spray (BioBizz LeafCoat) once every 2 weeks to create a 'transparent layer' onto the leaves and to protect them from spiders/thrips/moths/miners... Since I've applied this approach, I've seen almost zero invader in my room, and believe my it was a big problem in the past. I hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

The plant has grown super fast in its 4th week, pre flowering all over and exposing lots of new bud sites. The problem i am having though its some kinda of deficiency, research has lead me to believe that the deficiency in is magnesium deficiency or light burn. Your help in diagnosing this plant will be greatly appreciated.

Fixed all my calmag issues from last week thanx to your help. Turned out the plants where underfed with only 400ml water per feeding, so i increased the water and nutrient levels and included calmag. Smangies Bloomboss is a custom nutrient i have created for my autoflower. The plants seem to love the nutrients and i have been achieving some nice dense bud growth using this formula. Would you recommend organic autoflower nutrients?

This week has been great, create a little dry box for the upcoming harvest. The box features a 5v USB connection and a backup battery system in case we have a power failure. Any ideas to better the box?

The blue dream finished really fast as soon as i snipped off the fan leaves, this was a mistake, i should have left these fan leaves on to get more time. This forced me to harvest as the lady started to cannibalize its sugar leaves. Next Week full stats with harvest.

This Strain was very simple to grow, extremely resilient to stress. The new yield was somewhat a lot less than i expected but the quality was amazing, and in my opinion quality comes before quantity any day.😀

Great grow, great product! Having the same thing right now on my Zkittlez and I think it's a potassium deficiency.A little bit of potassium, bit of phosphorus and a little of magnesium I guess and I increase bloom fertilizer with some extra calcium&magnesium . :))

Looks good but you only can tell the harvest time by checking the trichomes with a microscope. I think it definitely need a week or even more.

For your grow I'm hesitant to give you suggestions cause she looks great honestly. I'd just keep doing whatever your doing that she loves. For your box I'd reccomend a carbon filter but that's just cause I cant get used to it being legal and still am paranoid lol. Also have heard it may take a little longer to dry because cardboard retains moister. Not an issue just dont be concerned if it takes a little longer than expected. Also dont let ant buds touch the cardboard as they will just keep absorbing the moister in there and never dry.
the end.
