Starting a freebie seed. First THC strain. Popped the seed in wet paper towel. Soil is 3 pt soil, 2 pt perlite, 1 pt vermiculite. Starting under dome under shop light.
This week doing better. I let her dry out, watering about 20-30 oz every 3 days, instead of every 2 days. That seemed to help her perk up a bit. Also, I gave her a topping, and the new growth is growing in just fine. I'm really excited to see how she grows up, since I've only focused on high CBD strains up till now.
Transplanted from 1 Gallon to 5 gallon fabric container this week. Mixed in Azos/Mykos into new (used) soil. Her color looks good. Did a little LST to open up the middle a bit and clipped a few larger leaves that were touching the soil. I'm trying to stretch her out a bit, so I raised my light to about 16 inches.
Continuing some defoliation of large upper leaves that were blocking light to the four tops. Growing well. Even took some clones from the cuttings, and both have already rooted. Much Much easier to clone than charlottes angel and candida cd-1, which makes me happy. Once clones are successfully transplanted into 1 gallon pots, I'll throw her into flower.
Moving this girl into flower, since I just emptied my tent of two plants. My 2 clones are in 1 gal pots and doing great, so I can continue these genetics.
This plant is so much easier to grow than my Charlottes Angels. A true pleasure. I'm hoping she stretches, since most of my plants tend to stay low and bushy, no matter where I have my lights.
Mark, since I'm growing organic, do you have any recommendations for feeding her the first 2 weeks of flower. I usually just give full strength Veg nutes, but I'm interested to hear if you have a different opinion.
Put into flower a few weeks ago. Doing great. Like all my plants, very little stretching. I don't know why. I always feed veg nutes for the first two weeks. Flowers forming already.
Day 30 of flower, she's still going strong. Some yellowing on lower leaves, some with brown tips. I'm thinking Nitrogen deficiency? Already getting super frosty. This is my first THC based grow, so I'm pretty excited.
Mark, I followed our veg/bloom feed plan, but upon seeing the yellow, gave her a little more veg feed. I hope that's okay.
All of a sudden, huge Nitrogen deficiency I think. This is day 33 of flower. I don't know if the plant is pulling the N a little sooner than normal, or is this the expected time. Anyway, I fed VEG nutes twice this week. Since it's organic, I have to wait to see what happens.
Super easy strain to grow. I don't smoke, so I made bubble hash, then gummies out of it. A lot of firsts for me, and I'm learning from my mistakes. If I take too much, I get a headband feeling, which I personally don't like. But if I dose it right, the gummies start to kick in about 45 minutes later. First feeling is a slight brain tingle, followed by a slight body tingle, then a few hours of relaxation, which helps me work at my job, which is physically stressful. Last feeling - I start yawning alot, and feel tired. The overall sensations last about 3-4 hours.
Great strain to grow, compared to some others that I haven't had great results with. But I'm still very "green". Thanks to dinafem for making a user friendly strain.
This is an organic grow. Runoff tested at 1600 ppm, which I've read isn't horribly high for organic soil. I've been giving Veg nutes every other feed, and the yellow has slowed it's spread, and the light green is staying steady. All the triches are cloudy at this point.
Your plan sounds solid my friend, this is what I would do 👍
Day 1-7 of bloom continue will full strength veg feed
Day 8-14 alternate between 1/2 strength veg and bloom feed
Day 15-21 stop veg feed and transition to full strength bloom feed 👌
That should work out perfect buddy 👍
Let the flower show begin 👊
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@GreenChick, That's what we like to hear, a strain that's just easy all around 👍

@DinafemSeeds, Thanks so much for showing an interest in this grow. Don't be mad if it doesn't turn out too well, I'm still very new to growing. Answers to your questions:
- turned down the watering to every 3 days
- No feed so far, until a couple days ago. Fed organic GO Box, at 1/2 strength.
- Temps are about 65 at roots.
*I'm growing in a cold drafty basement, so there's not much I can do about the temps, except in all 3 tents, I have a heat mat running at about 65 degrees. Also, I had to aim the fans away from the plants, as my Charlotte Angels were getting wind burn I think.
I hope I don't screw up your strain too much. 😬
Responding very well to the topping and training 👌
The time is coming to put our Critical Cheese into bloom 👍
Nice to read that the cutting process was easy, that's the next generation underway 👊
Until next time buddy ✌️
All the best
Mark..
Congratulations on the harvest my friend and thank you for representing our genetics on the grow diary platform 👍
How are you finding our Critical Cheese @GreenChick ?
A nice end to a nice diary 👊
All the best ✌️
Mark..
She does look to be running out of steam mate and a little earlier than expected. She looks hungry so I would increase the feed buddy 👍
What are your ppm/ec levels you are feeding mate?
With that said your still producing some impressive looking flowers dripping in trichomes 👌
Until next time ✌️
All the best
Mark..
