I started using a rubbermaid tote to get them going, This way I can mix the solution easier as well as its a smaller amount. The ph bounces quite a bit to start off so easier to balance in one container.
Also just about forgot I only have four hydro buckets so the 5th one is in soil, that's a new thing for me.
Well moving right along. Plants look good did a lot of trimming this week, cut a bunch of the big fan leaves off. Gave them all a twist to expose the new growth.
Will be switching to 12 - 12 light next week and send them off to flower.
I set the light up to 70% also a little closer to the canopy.
I'll put a scrog net on this week try to keep them from stretching too much more.
Lots of flowers starting to show.
Starting to see a lot more flowers. Added a scrog net to try and keep the canopy from out growing the tent. I was getting, what I think is nutrient burn, on a few tips so I changed out the solution and backed off the nutrients a little. We'll see where they go.
Week four of flower lots of buds starting to stack up. They are consuming about a liter of solution per day so I have been adding R/O water to top up the buckets between feeding.
Starting week five of flower. I cut back a lot of the bigger fan leaves.
I cut back a lot of the fan leaves there was what looks to be nutrient burn or more likely the bouncing PH. It's getting tough I'm adding litres of water a week so I haven't swapped out the solution completely.
Starting week six of flower. I didn't swap out much of the solution, plants have been using about a litre a day. As a result the ppm is up but I don't think its too high given the stage they are at.
buds are starting to stack nice, if all goes well should be a good result.
