Day 36
Bruce is growing very well. The 1/2 strength preflowering blend she really likes, every morning, she is standing tall, and about an hour before bed she is super relaxed after soaking up all the light for 20 hours.
PH stays nailed at 6.0, this grow, I will gradually increase the tripart during flowering, I plan to grow a large central cola on this one
Im going to get the temps higher in the tent, closer to 30 before the stretch happens, ive always seen and learned that 28-30 is where expansive vegetative growth happens, with around 50% humidity. Ive got the heat radiator on high at the moment.. these next two weeks will be the hottest 2 in the tent, then will scale back for the flowers enventually
Im also changing to an 18/6 light schedule, she is very relaxed 2 hours before the lights are going off right now, I think this will help with the stretch
Day 37
Extreme growth, I think the move to 18/6 is better for this strain
I performed massive defoliation and lollipopping to the first 3 nodes on all side branches
The overnight growth was immense, the preflower blend did not show any signs of stress to Bruce
I will plan to gradually increast the PPMs very slowly as flowering progresses
Day 38
Immense growth overnight, all is steady, great foliar health, the shape has returned to normal. removed two of the largest upper fan leafs, this promotes the lateral branches to also stretch in the upcoming stretch
We should see this one start to stretch in about 5-7 days! What a HULK!
The Root system on this one is HUGE, and I am in fear that there will be some issues, so adding in the 3% h202 into my res!

Day 39
Growing very well, adding about 3 litres into the DWC now
The smell is very intense, and also hazy, which is nice!
Day 40
Wow, bruce is growing to be large
I expanded the branches out with the LST ties, she is enjoying the airflow for sure
Keeping the same pre-flower blend for now, Bruce loves it
Day 41
Bruce is growing upward. she is taller than sour jealousy, different plant all together, adding fresh water for a preflower flush
Day 42
Growth everywhere, I will be giving more fresh water todqy to lower ppms before flowering nutrients go in tomorrow
I grow in promix 4times1m square SOG 16×7.5L pots per M square for years and wana down size and moove to DWC iam realy impress of your diaries the details and the precision of your coments his very learning to me.

@Herbie101, thanks Herb! This one will be really great. Ive grown her before, have the diary on here, but she had a rough start when I went to France for the first 11 days away from her. She bounced back to be super strong... The Sour Jealousy I just grew by Fast Buds is the best Auto Ive ever had, but the Bruce for reference is based off of my old grow. Now is time to use all the knowledge learned since then and grow the 2nd Bruce, which I think could beat the Sour Jealousy, time will tell! 😍😍😍
@DeepWaterGrower, I gave her too much calcium using the new TA Calcium Magnesium. The older GHE Cali Magic was a bit nicer to work with, the new Cal Mag from TA is too strong, I could tell in my last grow a little in the beginning. Bruce is looking very good now that I split the nutrients back to 1/2
@Tropicannibis_Todd, Thanks Todd, im blasting Bruce on the front end with the organic/mineralized combo to test the Bruce genetics.. ive been told Bruce is one of the most resilient strains, and from past experience it holds true.
@Qutro, this one will be fun! I grew it a few years ago, and it was unreal, however my first grow she had a rough start due to me having to travel a bit. This time Im locked into this grow, and will make it a complete monster. No holding back on this one, from seed she gets 350ppm nutrients. Bruce was the best auto ive grown until I grew this latest Sour Jealousy which is an absolute facemelter.. now that I am growing Bruce again, Bruce may beat the Sour Jealousy, time will tell for sure. I am hoping that Bruce will be on point with Sour Jealousy, because that will be my rotation for a while moving forward, those 2 strains.
@Herbie101, Hey! on Day 38 I uploaded a comparison photo from the first Bruce grow, vs. this one, and what a difference! This strain has been a bit tricky, but I am sure I have it dialed in now, and the buds that ill be approaching will be incredible!

@GnomesAndStones, Thanks! Yes this one has tested me big time, but it is no match for expertise in DWC! Im spolied by growing in DWC, and can easily reverse any issues and remedy problems fast. Bruce is a bit of a challenge to grow large in DWC due to "overwatering", however if you can push through the beginning, she will certainly reward. I grew Bruce before, and that grow was the most challenging of my life, but it reaped some of the absolute best auto buds ive ever had. This time will be a different story, it has had a much easier life that the first Bruce. Thanks for the well wishes! Bruce 2 will be a monster!
