In the first week, not much has happened yet. I let the seeds germinate directly in the soil, which is why it took a bit of time for them to emerge (it took about 5 days) and form their first photosynthesis leaves. We are currently in the first week; the plants are receiving 16 hours of light per day, and I am using Root-Juice as fertilizer while adding half a liter of water daily.
More pictures will follow.
The start of the 3rd week is a little tougher than I thought. Unfortunately, the plants simply had too little light at the beginning, which caused them to grow stalky, which really annoyed me and I was only able to correct it later because I wasn't attentive.
But that doesn't stop the plants looking lively and healthy. In the meantime they have formed a thick stem and are becoming firmer in texture. I just hope that they will soon reach the right size. Nevertheless, I am annoyed that they are not growing the way I want them to. Unfortunately, I only have experience with non-autogrow seeds and in my experience they don't grow to such an extreme height. But as I said, that was also a mistake on my part.
We will see when it goes into the 4th and 5th week of the vegetation phase.
A lot has changed since last time. The plants seemed to stagnate a bit over the past two weeks, but about five days ago, they really started growing. They’ve also started to develop a sweet and dominant cannabis aroma. Currently, I’m using Fish-Mix, Bio-Grow, and Bio-Bloom as fertilizers. I stopped adding Root-Juice after week four because I feel like the roots are now strong enough and don’t need any extra support.
The bud sites are slightly yellow and a bit curled at the moment, but overall, the plants look very healthy from the bottom up. There are no yellow or brown spots that would indicate overfeeding or deficiencies. The first plant has relatively few leaves and is growing tall and stretchy, while the other plant of the same strain is bushier and has noticeably more leaves. I only started noticing these differences over the past few days.
This weekend, both plants are getting pruned and lollipopped. Let’s see how tall and big they’ll grow from here!
