This is my very first grow of my own. I've been using a number of websites for research on techniques and methods and have received tons of advice from friends who have grown before. This isn't my first time growing plants however. Ive had a few years if summer vegetable gardening under my belt. I've decided to start off with an auto flower for my first grow because of their compact size and quick yield time. Also from what I've read they seem to be a bit easier to handle for a inexperienced grower. Grow Room: DS90 8" Fan with a MountianAir carbon filter for exhaust. Currently only being used to refresh the air in the room every once in a wile. If left on "LOW" for too long, too much air exchange causes low humidity. 8" Clip on fan is being used for internal air circulation. Light: Feit Blue Spectrum Dual 2ft LED Plant Grow Light. (I have plans to acquire a better lighting setup once funds are available.) Medium: 4 parts peat based soil 1 part perlite 1 part vermiculite Started my seed in what is probably going to end up being my finishing pot. I have a mackenzie seed starting mat underneath to heat the soil. I've covered the top in plastic wrap to increase humidity until germination. Should just be a few days now...

March 11th, 2019 Seed popped up about 3 days after planting. Watered once since planting. Took off plastic covering as soon as germination was seen. 2 Sets of true leaves have formed.😁 Watered late in the week and began micro-dosing some remo. Turned on the exhaust fan full time and have also added a humidifier to be able to reach and maintain ideal vegetative RH levels

Needed a bit of water late last week. I put the tiniest amount of the Remo Vegetative lineup to help boost root growth and help with early development. I have 4 sets of true leaves formed. Keep posted for more photos as the week goes by! Watered on Thursday. Added a touch more of the nutrient formula. Still far from the recommended weekly amount. On Tuesday I topped after the fourth node. Wednesday morning I bent the leaves down to help light reach everything down low. Hoping for a quick recovery! By Thursday my 2 new colas have formed and are shooting up. I’ve cut the first node completely off and applied the bend and secure on the 2nd and 3rd node to help fill out my canopy a little bit more. I've also cut the fan leaves off of node 2 to help bend down further. (This is a first time for me so I'm just kind of experimenting with some things I've seen on other diaries. Missed out on photos on Friday and Sunday due to work hours. :(

The bottom few nodes have moved out enough and now i just need them to catch up a little bit. the topped section has had a speedy recovery from last Tuesday. By Thursday it had grown up enough so that I could begin bending them down so that the lower nodes can catch up and further even the canopy. Pot feels light but the soil isn't quite dry enough to water. Hope to water Friday morning if conditions are right. Watered Friday morning. all of my growth is fairly evenly spaced and beginning to grow up. Sunday I setup my screen for my ScrOG. I'm also starting to prepare for my lights to move upwards. I've moved my clip on fan and carbon filter further away and have added a second 6" ground fan. Hoping for the bottom node to catch up to the group. all nodes are beginning to branch off quite nicely.

Monday it seems growth has come to a bit of a halt. No notable issues with leaves or anything. Still waiting for soil to completely dry out. Might be a Wednesday-Thursday water day this week, with another increase of the nutrient formula. Still debating on whether I should move up to 3ml/gal or 4. Tuesday it looks like the growth is picking back up. A lot of grows that I have been looking at start flower during this week but I'm hesitant. Friday and im almost past the screen. Switched up to 5 gallon pots on Thursday. started getting a massive root ball at the bottom of my pot. hopefully that will help with some more upward growth. I've been reading this https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/life-cycle-of-autoflowering-cannabis.243982/ as sort of a reference guide to my grow, and I'm going to test out treating it as if it were in veg until week 6. I'm hoping to encourage some more vertical growth. I"m going to try and get the most out of this grow and maximize the vertical growth. Saturday one branch has popped above the screen. looks like the vertical growth is slowing down. I'm also growing an Industrial Plant CBD Auto beside this girl and she has really shot up this past week in comparison. thinking about switching the XXL over to flower next week and leaving the industrial for one more week.

Last week of Veg and I'm switching over to to flower. 2 of my 4 main colas have passed through the screen. Growth has slowed right down and flowering has kicked IN! I might have stunted its growth by overfeeding at some point because it seems quite short and bushy. Maybe its just the strain. My lack of experience leaves me wondering.

Been busy at work so missed some photo days. 😑 Upward growth has come to a complete halt it seems and its REALLY flowering now. Smell in the tent is quite lovely and you can see the trichomes forming on the sugar leaves that are coming in. Switched over to flower nutes. dropped the grow and added the bloom and astroflower from Remo. Pistils are everywhere and it somehow got even more bushy. I've made an attempt to stretch some branches further apart and I've trimmed away a couple of leaves to allow light to reach further down. Bonus pictures of my tent, Industrial Plant CBD by @DinafemSeeds. Im starting to have an issue with the Industrial plant. Lower leaves are showing a number of bronzey brown spots with edge burn. Any ideas? I think it might be a magnesium issue because it appeared as the plant started flowering. Picture of the leaf above.

I'll bet it's just a PH issue making it seem like the beginning of a Calcium deficiency. Just flush with an extra half gallon of water and your normal nutrient solution, but be doubly sure that your PH is around 6.2..maybe recalibrate your PH pen.. It coud also be that you're having root problems on that plant. They will manifest themselves as a deficiency, and if you know you've been feeding them properly and that the PH is absolutely correct, that's probably the problem. You can try aerating the pot by using a skewer or somethhing thing and pointy to poke and prod the soil to loosen it up. You may need to just transplant into a pot with more coco or perlite..some plants just need an airier soil.

VERY Busy this week with work. Something Started to happen this week that was not so good. An abundance of nutrients from the veg stage that I neglected to flush came back to bite me. Nothing major but I'm now seeing things that will improve my next grow. Starting showing signs of excessive nitrogen looking for a good time to flush but work is going to have almost all of my time next week. The smell of this flower is INTENSE!! My entire basement reeks while I'm watering and for at least an hour after. Buds are thickening quite nicely and everything is STICKY to the touch.

Work had me as busy as predicted this week. Didn't have nearly enough time with my plants. Noticed a REALLY Low Ph last watering. 5.4 was my runoff with 6.4 going in. Took off some time next week to flush and met them into good shape for harvest.

Flush Week 2 and the colors are REALLY coming out. The buds are turning a nice shade of purple and the leaves have a nice yellow/purple/red fade coming in. Sugar leaves are turning dark purple and the trichomes are looking nice and milky.

Looking good!👍 I've got one of these plants growing now..a couple weeks older than yours. It is a hungry beast. Don't skimp on the nutes..especially phosphorus and potassium, and let her almost go completely dry between waterings and she'll be happy.
