This is my first grow, Glad to be able to call myself a grower now! Chem City Blue is an amazing strand to smoke so I figured why not start with what i love. She got above the ground finally and seems to be doin great still a long way to go though. Wish me luck!
Will be starting LST this week. Things seem to be going pretty well. I did switch lights to 20/4. I still kinda feel like she should be a liiittle taller but it is a shorter strand so I think I'm over reacting lol. Will be upping the nutes a little this week. (Hasn't been watered yet)
She's beautiful to me. But still early in the grow so all sort of things can and will change.
Love her color, she's been really great for me so far. She still looks good to me. Will be watering/feeding little later today...also I've gotten her into LST (as you can see) but seems like bc the stem is so sturdy and fat that it's grew out of a bend and into just laying at an angle. dont Know if there's a quick fix or if that's trouble, or if it's just fine. any help is welcome.

Coming into week 5, starting to flower. She's took over the whole pot and growing like a weed (pun intended 😁) To me she is still looking great and growing nicely. I have noticed a small amount of nute burn on some of the leaves so this last watering i just gave her some sweet water.
Also wanna give ELITE a shout out. THEYRE GREAT! Working great! REALLY standing up to their name.

Coming into week 6, seeing some good growth. I have some undercover fan leafs yellowing but nothing crazy. Getting more and more jacked about this girl everyday. Elite nutes are still doin work. I wish I had more light for them but I think what I got will finish the job.
Ok week 7 is upon us. She seems to be doing ok besides her height which is prob my fault. But once again this is my first grow. But the buds are fattening up. The smell is lovely. If anybody has any tips on harvesting or anything like that I'm in need of some help. I know I have a few weeks left. But wanting to make sure I'm ready. ALSO let me know what you think, guys and gals.
Week 8 is apon us Just getting antsy now. The smell is LOUD and the crystals are starting to form and im so ready for the end. Still got a few week so left in her. After this week I'm gonna start backing off the nutes week by week. Really wish things could be different. I know something I did messed up her growth as far as height. And what will end up being overall yield. But she's been and still is a good learning experience for it to be my first grow.
Getting closer to harvest. I'm guessing a week or so. little nute burn but she's ok. The smell is amazing. Once again bc of stunted growth idk how much I can really expect but it's still gonna be amazing. Looked at some of the trichombs with microscope they're still mostly clear. prob flushing later this week.
What's up everybody!! My girl is looking strong on the back stretch, I think. I'm guessing maybe another week and she's coming down. the smell is great and the tricombs look wonderful. Its my first grow and I had some stumbles, but it's gonna be great. I have stopped the nutes and working on flushing them out. Beautiful bud IMO. once again, like always would love some feed back! MUCH love to all my fellow growers! ✊🏻
This was amazing! ''''''''Twas my First grow and even though I had a few stumbles along the way I think it did pretty great. Shout out to Mephisto Genetics on an amazing strain of weed. She grew amazing she was splitting light with a jack Herer and still did amazingly. I''''ve learned so much with this first grow it''''s unreal. I will def be upgrading my light and will be growing Chem City Blues again. The yield was small but I take responsibility for that. The seed def has a lot more potential than that. Also a huge shout out to Elite nutes. With out them she would''''ve been so much smaller in sure. They live up to their name. She isn''''t as dense as I wish she could would be, but once again I take blame for that.
Let me know what y''all think!! Only reason I didn''t give it max stars is bc it was my first grow. So have nothing to compare it to. But it''s AWESOME!0
@CANNASIM, man I appreciate that response a lot! Thank you a lot for helping me with that reply. That light schedule decrease, sounds super interesting...May switch my girls to a 20/4.
@QualityBudMan, Thats a nice question, I spoke with some breeders about it including @FAST_BUDS(thanks), to have a definitive answer on that topic. From that the conclusion i've got is that is a growers preference. 18/6 is suggested because of the balance between energy cost and results, but you can choose 20/4, 22/2 or 24/0. Another observation that they make is that is advisable to let them sleep a bit. Well that answer is the kind of answer i've got on my research, so it's your call, i'm running 20/4. There is @nicogm who uses a light schedule decrease as the girls grow and changes cycle, that was a very interesting strategy i would like to try some time...

Man I really appreciate that! Def will update when it's completely cured. Also the trim job is rough, I know lol but it was the first go. Will be starting another diary soon hopefully. Gonna switch a few things up and see how my "corrections" go. In ur opinion what's the best Auto strain to grow?? Trying to see what should be next.
