This is my first time running genetics from Ethos . I'm fairly optimistic about this strain due to Ethos reputation on having above average genetics. This also marks me taking a break from autoflowering strains and returning to "my roots"(pun intended) with photoperiod plants to improve yields, and to work on cloning (I'm horrible at the time of writing this) as well as keeping the same strain to really get an even canopy with scrog and/or tying the plant down with last and topping. When I last grew photoperiod plants I was still in my first couple of grows so an even canopy wasn't a priority because I was just trying to get to harvest some smokeable bud. After trying autoflowering strains for a few grows I'm no expert but have gained a decent amount of experience and confidence in growing which has been a big help in identifying where I can improve especially in regards to cloning(just a lack of experience mostly because until the last year or two I hadn't purchased seeds from a company instead I was using bag seed so wasn't concerned in seed expenses), watering practices(chronic over waterer with no dry back in between),harvesting both with quantity (need to get my canopy truly level and even for flowering by either last , dialing in on my scrog skills, or possibly trying a run or two with a sog technique and compare effort/final yields with scrog vs sog , and most important ripeness(chronic premature picking and not being more patient allowing buds to fully ripen before I chop). So hopefully I can start to really perfect and polish my growing skills because this has become a great hobby , saved me money buying from dispensaries, and truly developing into one of my passions/escapes from daily life. In my opinion there are few things as enjoyable and rewarding as taking a seed and growing your own bud. It really is incredible to smoke buds you grew yourself so true appreciation of the whole process has been an unexpected but appreciated side affect of my personal growing journey.I look forward to all the possible future grows , as well as all the knowledge yet to be gained , given , or shared with fellow passionate and experienced growers. So if you're reading this I'd like to thank you for checking out one of my grow diaries as well as hoping you can learn something from it . Sorry so long so I'll end this with a warm and friendly thanks wishing all my fellow "growmies" to have plenty of happy, healthy harvests now and in the future , .
