Nowitslegal Dear Growlegends, I'm glad you found your way to my grow report. Here, I will occasionally post current pictures of the progress and document how I, as an ambitious novice, try to take care of my ladies. I want to keep the work itself to a minimum, which is why I decided to use the Bio Tab system in combination with Autopots. I'm constantly optimizing the technique, and I'm now super satisfied with the AC Infiniti system and the possibilities for automation. Recently, a Sanlight EVO 3-60 moved into the cabinet and has rounded off the setup for me for now. Technology and gadgets make up a large part of the joy of growing for me :-) At the beginning of December, three seeds were soaked in water: one Tangerine Dream, one Amnesia Lemon, and one Mimosa x Orange Punch. Unfortunately, the latter did not germinate, and there were no replacement seeds available, so it will be two plants in this run. In the last grow, four plants were able to grow in Autopots on 60x60cm, but that was quite a tight situation. I unfortunately did not document the first weeks of the grow adequately, but everything went smoothly and without problems. Soaked in water, placed in Jiffys, then into about 1.5l pots with Lightmix. On Veg Day 17, the two were then placed in the 15l Autopots along with Lightmix and additional perlite. 01/03/2025: I spontaneously decided yesterday to scrog the plants and crafted a suitable net. I will extend the veg phase by about a week to get the net filled to 80-90%.

Nowitslegal We are in the middle of the 6th week of vegetation, and the SCROG net is already quite densely covered. The switch to 12/12 is just around the corner, probably happening on Sunday. At first, I wanted to let every square of the net be completely filled, but I'm worried about the stretch, especially the Tangerine Dream, which has been pushing up hard even during growth. I was able to limit it a bit with the net, but the four main stems could become a problem. Overall, I have about 60cm of space above for the plants to maintain distance from the lamp. In the meantime, I've removed some individual leaves to bring hidden shoots into the light, and yesterday I removed part of the shaded stems and leaves from the bottom. Overall, the two ladies seem very healthy to me, and the daily progress is really enormous. Several times a day, vertical shoots are pushed back under the net and aligned. The lighting is currently dimmed to 60%, and the plan is to increase the light intensity in 10% increments every few days. I would really appreciate tips on SCROGging and also any experiences regarding Sativa SCROGs, but criticism and suggestions for improvement are also explicitly welcome if you notice anything negative. The next update will come a few days after the switch. Happy Growing!

Nowitslegal Here's the promised update after switching to 12/12. The two ladies are on flower day 7, and they are currently growing several cm daily, and I'm still trying to train them under the net. The Tangerine Dream (on the left) definitely has more energy and feels like it's growing twice as fast as the Amnesia Lemon. To hopefully have both plants at a similar height later, I'll stop training the Amnesia a few days earlier; let's see if that leads to the desired success. The lamp has only been hung slightly higher, and I've also dimmed it from level 6 to level 7 with the start of the flowering phase. Every 3 days, the ladies get a shower of distilled water and Purolyt. In about 2 weeks, both will be defoliated a bit and will get some moderate lollipopping to ensure air circulation.

Nowitslegal The net has completely filled up, on flower day 14 I lost the battle to keep the plant under the net. I hope the remaining stretch is minimal and there's a beautiful sea of flowers. In a few days, I'll finally thin it out and remove everything below the net.

Nowitslegal Today there's a slightly delayed update. The pictures are from flowering day 21 and 22, today we are on flowering day 23. The plants are now about 29cm above the net, the stretch isn't over yet, currently, they're adding about 2cm per day. The shoots are mostly all at a nice height, but there could definitely be a few fewer shoots; overall, it's already very dense. Do you think I've thinned enough, or should I remove more leaves?
