Moweeto Mother Plant Diary
Introduction
This diary is dedicated to the incredible Moweeto mother plant, selected from past grows for its standout phenotype. This plant boasts traits leaning heavily towards the lime-forward, crisp freshness of Lime Gelato, combined with creamy Gelato undertones and a subtle hint of mint. Known for its frosty trichome production and balanced characteristics, it represents the finest expression of its lineage. If you'd like to see the original grow where this plant first thrived, visit the dedicated diary on our page.
Setup
Growing Medium: The Moweeto mother plant has been placed in a 15x15 cm rockwool cube atop a 20 cm rockwool slab, offering optimal root space and nutrient distribution.
This diary documents the flowering phase of our Moweeto mother plant. After three months of vegetative growth, it’s exciting to witness how this unique plant transitions into flowering. Known for its fresh lime and creamy gelato notes with a frosty appearance, we’re eager to evaluate its full potential.
Week 1 of Flowering
Nutrient Adjustments: Transitioned to flowering nutrients and adjusted the pH to 6.0/6.1 for optimal nutrient uptake.
Growth Observations: The Moweeto took a little longer to adapt to the nutrient change compared to the FullGas plants, but it has started making a significant recovery and showing noticeable growth spurts.
Environment: Daytime temperatures are stable at 27-28°C, with 60% humidity. Good air circulation is maintained to prevent issues in the dense canopy.
End of Week 5 Flowering
The Moweeto clone is bulking up nicely, with significant resin production. However, some branches are already struggling to hold the weight of the dense buds.
The aroma is becoming more pronounced, bringing out its fresh, crisp lime and creamy Gelato undertones, making it a standout in the tent.
A defoliation and lollipop were performed on day 21 of flowering to improve airflow and light penetration.
Moweeto continues to show strong development, drinking the most water compared to the other strains. The buds are swelling nicely, and the aroma is intensifying, blending its signature fresh lime and minty notes with a creamy undertone. The transition to Athena Fade on the last day of the week marks the final phase of flowering, preparing the plant for the ripening process.
