- Day 1 : 21°C 95% humidity, pulverizing tap water twice a day on paper tissues.
- Day 4 : only the gorilla cookies opened, I've put them in soil for a more stable environment. 26° humid soil, 50% in air and little cups over the seedlings to keep a high hygrometry.
- Day 5 : Started to adapt my water, ph : 6.5 EC : 625 µS/cm and start of nutrients (mycorhizes and root stimulant)
- Day 6 : Start to see the seeds coming out it's the end of germination phase ^^
Day 1 : All seeds popped out 70mL of watering each
Day 3 : ~120mL each
Day 5 : 2nd lamp is on 400W total with PPFD of ~60µmols (instead of 30)
Day 6 : Reduced lamp distance to plant by 30 centimeters (now 90), PPFD should be up to 110µmols
Day 7 : 200mL each around the plants not directly on it. Reduced again by 10 centimeters , PPFD to 140µmols now
Seems a little slow to me but let's see.
Day 9 : The SB#2 fell, PPFD at 180µ. I also managed to get hygrometry up to 62% by evaporating water
Day 10 : Started nutrients (N) 200mL/plant, PPFD to 250µ, humidity went up to 77% today ^^.I also gave a tutor to the SB#2.
Day 11 : PPFD to 300µ, Soil pH lil bit too high (6.65), 22°C in root zone
Day 12 : PPFD to 360µ.
Day 13 : PPFD to 440µ, 200mL each plant pH 6.0 EC 950.
Day 15 : 300mL to each plant pH 6.1 EC 1050, yellowing cotyledons on the GC sad and pale leaves, I still don't know if it's Nitrogen lack/excess or unadapted watering, we'll see in the next two days.
Day 16 : I'm thinking of throwing the GC and start again, I think I gave her too much Nitrogen. The SBs are doing great, I'm thinking of starting LST but apex dominance surely won't be a problem anyway. PPFD to 550µ
Day 17 : LST
Day 18 : 300mL each pH 6.1 EC 1000, LST is successful they adapted well, my leaves are praying.
Day 19 : going well, GC died.
Day 20 : 400mL each pH 6.1 EC 1100, reLST to form a S shape with the apex of SB#2
Just harvested my SB#2, I didn't weight it wet but yield seems nice. The scent is incredible, very sweet, with a citrus smell. I'll be drying in the tent hoping humidity doesn't play me. I'm impatient this harvest is kinda early, trichomes aren't amber but not translucid either, I'd say 80% milky. I'll let at least one week more to the SB#1
@Chipeur, what many growers do is take off one of the lower buds, dry and then smoke test. Doesn't tell you much about the smoothness or flavour because it is not cured, but it will tell you what high you can expect.
@UnorthadoxDude, Hey, Thank you for checking up, I'm trying Fast buds, Mephisto and SweetSeeds, Mephisto seems to offer great quality phenos, on this strain I had two really different phenos (in smell one is fruity, the other is meaty/earthy) but structure was really similar. I think this strain could be great on a well managed SCROG because it produces lots of branches and budsites but they have some more indica strains that would have been more adapted to my culture method/environment. I would like to test other strains from Mephisto, like the Ravenberry or Alien vs Triangle. Also they have some abordable bundles (like strain tests) that seems really interesting if you are more experienced. About the early harvest, I'm just too impatient to test it but thanks for the advice, I'll wait for the others to show trichome maturation, like at least 5-10% amber.
