Larry OG + OG Kush Mainline Experiment

Cannabuss Topped both plants during week 2 at the 4th node set. Then re-topped lower at the 3rd node set to take 2 strong clones from Larry OG. Both combine mainline techniques with the use of auxiliary branches to create 6 tops for Larry and 8 for Kush. Larry is LST in a spiral pattern as an experiment. Tie downs are reapplied around every 2 days and branches are gently pinched and twisted.

Cannabuss Last week of veg got some good growth. Both plants got some foliar feeding every 3 days and light pruning. Turned the light up to 50%. The Larry was germinated 2 weeks after the OG Kush but has made some nice tops to go into flower.

Cannabuss Both plants are doing well. Larry OG is stretching faster and taller as expected. OG Kush is continuing to keep tight inter-nodal spacing and looks to be stacking nicely.

Cannabuss Plants stretched a ton but seem to be slowing down now. Switching to bloom nutrients only and going to do some heavy defoliation this week. Might add a scrog net this week.

Cannabuss Defoliated both plants over the last week and trimmed off all undesirable bud sites and excess fan leaves. Put a bucket under the OG Kush to raise it up 6 inches and even out the canopy top. The buds on the Larry OG are coming in nicely and are starting to smell great. Light is at 50% power but may raise it to 75% this week. The leaves are a bit too green and I will be reducing nitrogen this week as well as giving a water flush at some point.

Cannabuss Buds are looking good. Did some light pruning of fan leaves to get more light penetration into the lower bud sites. OG Kush seems to have bushed out a little and will need some pruning this week. Overall the grow is going great and no problems so far.

Cannabuss Awesome week, buds are slowly but surely starting to swell. The frost is starting to come in a lot more and the smell is really nice from the Larry OG plant.

Cannabuss Both plants are looking nice and frosty. The OG Kush buds are swelling a lot and even the bottom nodes are loaded with trichomes. Larry OG isn’t far behind and continues to smell amazing.

Cannabuss Started flushing plants this week, they are looking amazing and smelling even better. The Kush plant is totally stacked. I plan to flush for one more week and then harvest. I took some of the lower fan leaves off to open up more light and airflow for the last week.

Cannabuss Plants are starting to fade now. The OG Kush is showing dark purple and the buds have become more solid in the last week. Larry OG is more than ready to be harvested. Only a few days left until chop day. Both of these plants have been a breeze to grow from germination to harvest with no issues.

Cannabuss Easy harvest and tons of sticky resinous buds and trim. I ended up with a ton of sugar leaves and trim to turn into ice hash and kief. I’m looking forward to smoking it once it’s cured.

Cannabuss Total blast to grow this plant. The amount of frost is insane. I made a ton of finger hash after trimming and am looking forward to getting a huge batch of ice hash from all of the sugar leaf trim.
