I planted this RQS seed in a peat pellet. This is my favorite and most fool proof way for ME to germinate cannabis seeds. I've tried most of other techniques and they work well, I found this method requires very little touching of the seedling, therefore there's less of a chance of shocking or stunting the seedling during the potting process(especially when dealing with autos).
All is looking well so far. I'm still trying to decide if I want to use my regular Fox Farms nutrients or use Grow Dots. Does anyone have any experience with Grow Dots in Coco Coir? I'd love any advice.
Day 27 and all seems to be going well. This my first time using grow dots, it's such a different experience letting go of the "nutrient reigns", so to speak. She looks healthy. Now, I added DE or diatomaceous earth, worm castings, a bit of compost that has some bio char. I thought the added amendments would help with water retention and would really help during flower production. We'll see. I'm just trying different things seeing what works, and what's a waste of time and money. Happy growing!
She's not growing as fast I thought she would. Auto's for me have been a bit tricky at times. I enjoy the unpredictability and having to troubleshoot good ol' ruderalious. Happy growing!
All right! She finally had an explosion of growth! I was over worried as usual, that she might be stunted. Especially because I keep comparing my plants to all the "guru growers". "Guru" growing is obviously the goal, but when I'm constantly comparing plants it can take some of the joy out of growing. That's been my experience. Happy growing!
Made it to week 8, and it's been a breeze using grow dots. I highly recommend them(grow dots)for people who just don't have the time to baby their grow every step of the way, or anyone who wants use synthetics but doesn't care for mixing and measuring.
She's starting to have a nice subtle scent, and the preflowers have arrived. She's going start stacking her flowers soon and letting us know who she is by releasing her scent. I can't wait. I'm having fun along the way. I'm trying not to stress myself out. Growing should be relaxing and enjoyable, at least that's what I want it to be for me. I try to remember, this is just a hobby, my life doesn't depend on whether or not my grow is successful. Just food for thought. Happy growing!
i use grow dots and recharge. awesome product. no beeter feeling that you know your plants are getting what it needs when it needs it. its really weird not adding nuts to the water. no worry about TDS.
