Day1:Used the makeup remover pads method to germinate worked like a champ had broke through first day and was ready to plant in 48 hours.
Day2:I planted a little to shallow so it didn’t have time to break it’s seed shell it was completely closed had to perform the most daunting surgery of my life and got it open no damage to the plant or stress
Day3: got home from work and noticed it had grown about an inch more then I’d like but I caught it before to much damage was done. Currently have it in my house instead of the grow tents in my second building want to give it a good start before I throw it into the cold (building is about 75 in tent and 55-60 in the room.
Day4: got her in the house all snug, running on 24h lights 72 degree Fahrenheit and under a 100w light as of right now. This plant is known to be lengthy so maybe that’s why she’s reaching cause the light is definitely low enough
Day5-7: lots of stretching might be genetics cause I’ve even moved the light closer and turned it up had to add some garden wire to hold her up she was starting to lean. I regret growing in a 3g and I don’t plan on repotting however there is a water Reservoir on the bottom of the pot might be able to get away with keeping it filled and hopefully the roots will just grow into the space bellow. I agree with those who suggest autos will flower if met with root resistance it seems one of many factors that have a play in a bountiful harvest.
Other then the stretching she’s healthy and showing great pro
Day8: the next few days are gonna be a chore she’s gonna explode with growth and imma have to make sure she is held up until she builds some strength in her stem.
Day9: she’s looking good I’ve been taking off the garden wire for her to be able to build her own strength and so far she’s able to stand upright for the most part end of this week I should be in the green to take off the support. She’s in the phase were she’s about to blow up next couple days I bet she gonna triple in size.
Day 15: expecting her to explode with growth in the next couple days. Definitely feel like she’s gonna be simple to train but I’ve never grown lengthy cultivars only bushy so it’ll be interesting to have the extra spacing.
Day17: started low stress training today.
Day22: I’m used to growing bushy indicas so it’ll be interesting to see how this turns out
Days 23-24: I think I prefer lengthy plants easier to train however I like them bushy cause always looks visually pleasing and I can guess my yields earlier but from what I’ve seen of others grows it’s doesn’t appear to be a big yielder but i shall find out for myself. She’s surprisingly already giving off a musky smell.
Day24 update: my cat jumped on my makeshift grow wagon and I had the main stem tied down a little to tight and I guess it just gave still connected so I put some tape on it.. not very happy it could have been any other branch but had to be the main. I’ve never had this many issues as far as breaking branches till I started growing autos must be more fragile in that sense but I won’t let my cat take all the blame I should have repositioned that wire three two days ago.
Day25:she’s still perky after 24hrs so the broken main cola should be fine no wilting.
Day26: she’s gonna do just fine to this day. I am surprised how resilient a healthy plant can be that was clean, only held on by few fibers And she’s getting pretty stinky sometimes I catch a whiff of her just being in the room, but definitely when I am a foot away from her. I can slightly smell the dankness.
Day29: well dang that was fast idk if it’s cause she’s in a 2gallon or if the break threw her into flower or both? I have one more seed of this I’m gonna pop it in a five gallon see what the difference is
Day 30-31: moved her out to the green house got a new cat and didn’t want to deal with the consequences she’s praying to the light so I raised the light to its max height so hopefully I don’t experience any light stress unfortunately I’m working with a 2x4x5 right now cause I’m flowering a mother plant in the 5x5x7. The break is fully healed and I think it topped itself.
