14/1/2025 Cotyledon leaves fully opened and first set of true leaves visible. Moved seedlings to 4x2 Vivosun grow tent in environment controlled room, planted in 70:30 pre buffered coco perlite mix 5 gallon fabric pots under 320W Samsung Diode LED. Following transplant, seedlings were top watered with 1L Calmag RO water solution (1ml to 1L). 15/1/2025 Seedlings looking good. 1st set true leaves getting bigger and more upward growth. No signs of transplant shock. 16/1/2025 True leaves as big as cotyledon leaves. 17/1/2025. True leaves bigger than cotyledon leaves and serrated edges becoming visible. Mixed 3L solution of Calmag, Growell 8:8:8 and seaweed extract (2ml/0.5ml/1ml to 1L) and bottom watered by pouring about 1L solution each into tray of each seedling pot. The last 100 ml took about 10 mins to be sucked dry from the tray. I watered in amounts of 100 ml to ensure I was not oversaturating the substrate. 18/1/2025 Seedlings looking healthy. Second set of true leaves visible. 19/1/2025 Second set of true leaves as big as cotyledon leaves.

20/01/2025 Seedlings have definitely grown in size! Bottom watered again today. Mixed 3L solution of Calmag, Growell Plus 8:8:8, Seaweed extract (2ml / 1ml / 1ml) and watered 1L per pot. Solution was sucked dry from tray relatively fast, guess the roots are growing. 21/01/2025 Measured PPFD / DLI today and found that my existing light had a relatively low ppfd value output. Reading 50 plus PPFD / 4.5 DLI at 24 inch height 75% power, generating insane amounts of heat if the grow tent is closed. Thing is the max ppfd is about 150 at 24 inches. Can't bring down the lights more without potentially causing light burn due to the high DLI low ppfd ratio. Fortunately I have the tent in a temperature controlled room so I had to leave the tent open to ensure there was good airflow cooling down the excess heat without causing too much of a temp shift. Managed to bring up the humidity by adding a larger humidifier maintaining 60 to 70 % range. Did myself a favour and ordered the vivosun aerolight a200se to go along with the rest of the vivosun kit. Hoping it arrives by week 3! Besides this, seedlings look healthy, did some foliar feeding with homemade wood vinegar (5ml to 1L) after lights out. 22/01/2025 I almost killed my plants with light lol. Turns out my existing light was putting up alright dishing out 1200 pfd from 24 inches at max. I noticed some skewed reading when I was tilting my phone screen so decided to take off the screen protector and damn.. ppfd was at 800 ppfd! It was the screen protector not the lights 😆 Since there were no signs of yellowing or wilting I decided to keep it at 400 ppfd. Bottom watered with 1L each of (2ml CalMag / 1ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 / 1ml Seaweed to 3L phed to 5.9) had about 100 ml excess after waiting for 10 mins so I drained out the excess. 23/01/2025 Fortunately my blunder with the lights didn't cost me too much. Plants still looking healthy, 3rd set of true leaves opening up.

27/01/2025 (Day 15) 4th set of true leaves emerging. Bottom watered with 3L solution (3ml Calmag /1ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 / 1.5ml Seaweed extract / 5ml wood vinegar to 3L RO water phed to 5.8). 29/01/2025 (Day 17) Im beginning to wonder if they were stunted by light blunder in earlier weeks. 30/01/2025 (Day 18) Took out all the guesswork from my nutrients. Fed each nutrient specs to AI and drafted a weekly nutrient schedule tailor made to my nutrient brands, pot size and coco mix. It basically broke down the calmag + growell to bottom watering and wood vinegar + seaweed to foliar feeding. Blasted all 3 plants with foliar mix: 3ml Wood Vinegar + 2ml Kelp & Seaweed Extract to 1L RO water. Not phed. 31/01/2025 (Day 19) Something must have gone right because it literally doubled the leaf sizes overnight 🤣 01/02/2025 (Day 20) Tray watered with new feeding schedule from week 3: 1.8ml Calmag + 1.8ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 + 2ml wood vinegar to 1L RO water, phed to 5.8. 02/02/2025 (Day 21) DSD-2 and and DSD-3 appeared to have grown the most while DSD-1 showing the least growth.

03/02/2025 (Day 22) Satisfied with overall growth. Tray watered with new feeding schedule from week 4: 1.8ml Calmag + 1.8ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 + 2ml wood vinegar to 1L RO water, phed to 5.8. 04/02/2025 (Day 23) Did LST on DSD-2 and DSD-3. I am going to leave DSD-1 as it is. 05/02/2025 (Day 24) Watered tray with : 1.8ml Calmag + 1.8ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 + 2ml wood vinegar to 1L RO water, phed to 5.8. 06/02/2025 (Day 25) Did some more defoliation on DSD-2 and DSD-3. Applied foliar spray - 3ml wood + 2ml seaweed extract. 07/02/2025 (Day 26) Removed big fan leaves from the top of DSD-1 to promote more growth on lower branches 08/02/2025 (Day 27) Noticed substrate was still moist so skipped watering. 09/02/2025 (Day 28) Prepared compost tea: 1 cup worm casting, 2ml seaweed extract, 2 tbl spoon molasses + 5L RO water, aerated with oxygen bubbler overnight.
