First time using the AC Infinity Heater and I am happy to say the plants respond very well when the temps are high and stable. 3/4 seeds popped, soaked seeds for 24 hours then direct sowed into Rockwool.
Plants in the Delta 4x4 blocks have been transplanted on top of Uni Slabs and topped back in Week 3. Using Bud Trainer clips for the past week to spread the growth horizontally. Installed a trellis net and will be spreading branches for about 1-2 weeks or until I see a branch in most of the branches in each grid.
Plants are growing nicely and filling the trellis net waiting for the center plant to catch up to the canopy before one more defoliation then flip to flower. Keeping about a 20-25% dryback every night and a steady 3.0 average substrate EC for veg - which indicates an equilibrium for nutrient uptake.
Interesting to note that I am seeing a very low VWC of about 40% capacity on some freshly prepared Unislabs, soaked for 40 minutes. Not seeing it being an issue as the relative change is what I need to focus on which I'm able to with my sensor but surprised that I'm seeing that in rockwool. Otherwise the plants are happy and thriving. Sensor is doing it's job. Able to get multiple feedings per day to trigger growth.
Final defoliation and lolipopping below the net before I flip to flower. Branches are filling in nicely.

Switched to Athena Blended line as I flip to flower today. I don’t get why it’s difficult to get the 2lb salt packs for their pro line so I chose the blended line for the ability to buy individual bottles
Day 1 flower has begun, keeping drybacks to around 40% overnight and slowly increasing the EC in the substrate with a target of 5-6EC at peak stretch. I will defoliate between week 2 and 3. Slowly increasing PPFD to 800 with a target of 900-1000 in the next few days.
One week later and the plants required another thurough defoliation/thinning to keep airflow and allow other branches to grow bigger. I may need to do another final defoliation around week 3.
Start of week 3 and had to do another defoliation to keep light exposure to the tops. Flowers are starting to show and starting to get a strong fruity aroma, cant wait to see how the smells develop over the next few weeks.
Starting off week 4 strong with stretching, tight node spacing, bulking, and trichrome production. Still plan for a final defoliation at the end of this week to send things off right. The smell from touching the sugar leaves give off a strong, fruity, like a fruit roll up note that I was hoping for! Cant wait to see how the terps evolve during the grow.
