Girl Scout Cookies Auto & Auto Yuhbary - Terra Preta Mix

These two are long into flower, but also look like they still need another 2 or 3 weeks. Generally they took a long time. Germinated quickly on day 4, but went into flower after about 6 weeks. It's the first grow after converting my pantry into a grow room to allow the plants more space than the previous 60x60x180 tent could offer them. Only did LST, no topping and only minimal defoliation. Want to let them grow however they want to grow and see how that goes. So far, I'm very happy with how healthy they look. Girl Scout Cookies Auto measures 80cm from the top of the soil, Yuhbary Auto 'only' 50cm The Buds could be slightly bigger and Girl Scout Cookie could have a little more trichomes, but they're not done yet.

Still growing - only few amber trichomes on Girl Scout Cookies Auto, and none on Yuhbary Auto. I'm sure the height difference of 30cm (Girl Scout Cookies Auto is about 80cm tall, Yuhbary Auto 'only' 50cm) and the difference in received light has a big impact on that, but there's not much I can do about that - at least not at that stage. Girl Scout Cookies Auto is having some issues. Some sugar leaves started turning greenish brown and drying out. Doesn't look like a nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn to me, more like CalMag deficiency - I've added a little extra to compensate. Also, some lower fan leaves have started to yellow, which doesn't seem to be related to the other issue - I'm thinking it's rather a sign that the end of life is coming closer and all energy is now going to the trichome production. At least, that's my hope.

Girl Scout Cookies Auto was suddenly ready to get chopped - I would've like to see a few more amber trichomes, but the fan leaves started yellowing faster, and more sugar leaves got crispy tips. Also, the smell got pretty strong over the last week or so. It was a very nice grow, and I'm curious on the yield and effect after drying and curing. Yuhbar Auto still needs a little more time, and will enjoy a few more days or weeks under the (artificial) sun, giving the trichomes more time to ripen.

Still looking pretty good so far. After harvesting Girl Scout Cookies Auto, Yuhbary Auto is sharing a light with my two other, much younger plants. The light is a lot closer to Yuhbary Auto than before, which leads to discoloration of some fan leaves, but as far as I understand it, that's to be expected due to suddenly increased photosynthesis. A lot more Trichomes are getting milky, but so far, no amber ones in sight. UPDATE: That was that - Yuhbary Auto suddenly developed amber trichomes and the lower fan leaves started to turn yellow. A lovely grow, a lovely plant and a very nice outlook on what's to come in her next phase.

She grew as well, as it was possible for her. The fabric pot she grew in, was contaminated with rust from a previous grow (long story, don't ask ;-). Despite a round in the washing machine, some rust spots remained at the bottom. These rust spots caused stress to the plant, causing it to be more focused on stress response and survival than growth. She grew tall enough and had many buds, but the buds stayed rather small. Definitely a lesson learned for the grows to come.

After 15 weeks, her time has come. She had a good life, despite some rusty obstacles that kept her on the smaller side, but her buds look awesome and smell great!
